Personally when someone says that, I unmatch straight away if we haven't been talking long or I say"we're looking for different things, best of luck" if we've been talking for a while just to be a bit more polite and then unmatch but you don't even need to say that at all, you can just unmatch whenever. Saying "we MAY be on different pages" lets them try to wriggle out of it. If someone shows a red flag or tells you they are NOT looking for something serious, you MUST unmatch or they will string you along for as long as possible.

I just don’t ask cause guys will say whatever they want if they think it can help them get you into bed quicker. Even if they say they’re looking for a relationship I wouldn’t take that too seriously...

Follow it up by unmatching with him. Block him too if you have the option there.
