I have only experienced and witnessed cowardice, selfishness, greed, absolute abuse and psycho antics from men.

"Be brave, you're a man!"

Where?

Never met a brave man who didn't have a stake in something that prompted his so called braveness.

Braveness in exchange for sex. Braveness in exchange for praise. Braveness too attract another that is not you. Braveness to convince themselves that they are brave.

But they are cowards.

Brave because they're selfless and care? Would literally risk their lives for the greater good, for a stranger, for their wife or family?

Brave men who honor other brave men for their kindness and giving nature. Brave men don't have many witnesses because they don't boast their braveries. It was an experience in their life, and then another and another. The braveries pile on and the man is no longer brave in his own eyes if he ever even viewed it that way. He is just a decent person.

"Anyone would have done it!, please don't praise me"

But brave man, you and I both know that isn't true.

"Sir, tell us again why you did it? Saved the young woman from drowning...shielded that little girl from the broken glass...took on that man looking for trouble?"

You repeat.

"Anyone would have done it!, please don't praise me"

I know you mean it but we both know that really isn't true.
