Don't decide on either. Take what you need from any ideology you feel jives with your consciousness. This isn't some cult where you have to strictly practice some set of criteria or you'll burn in hellfire.

Learning how to "game" women in college really helped allow my personality become much more charismatic in general, which will help you in business and winning friends/influence later in life.

Being able to sell yourself to the most pedastled, irrational, emotional beings of humanity will allow you to do just about anything socially.

And unless you want to live in a cave the rest of your live, these skills will come in handy many times through life.

On one hand I'd like to be free of the binds of females but on the other I feel that I would be losing a great opportunity to practice RP.

Personally, I think "RP" -- and especially the "PUA" style aspect of it -- is fundamentally the opposite of MGTOW, like the "blue pillers" that they so deride and denigrate, the PUA-RP'ers are still submitting to the demands of women (just purportedly what women REALLY want rather than what they verbally claim to want)... essentially STILL letting women set the "rules" of the game.

MGTOW by contrast doesn't care what women "want" regardless of the "reality/claim" -- we're really just not interested in playing any bullshit "games".

RP -- at best -- is an "act"... pretending to "not care", but in reality STILL "caring" (still "playing" their game-- that's part of what being a "player" signifies), and still letting women set/change/manipulate the rules, play referee, etc.

You can't really decide between them. MGTOW is a life-style of self-ownership, while TRP is an applied science that allows you to pursue your goals, whether fucking women or becoming powerful.

I'd suggest you focus on your studies as well as self-improvement in regards to general knowledge and fitness. So essentially TRP/MGTOW, minus trpgame. You can have fun once in a while (bang chicks), but if you want to be completely committed to your work and improve yourself, you ought to remain chaste to take advantage of the boost in both productivity and motivation that comes with remaining chaste.

I think you can be MGTOW, TRP and MRA, all at the same time.

MR is a movement concerned social and political change for men's current place in society. Its adherents tend to be suspicious of TRP, but it doesn't need to be the case. You can be an MRA who doesn't believe that equality between the sexes is feasible.

TRP is a set of principles that govern male and female interactions, think of it as analyzing mating rituals of some animal species, except the animals are us. A lot of the people who call themselves red pill are players who "spin plates" (sleep with a lot of women), but that also doesn't need to be the case. You can keep TRP in mind while remaining monogamous.

MGTOW is a philosophy of life, based on the idea that since so many interactions with women are toxic, it's better not to pursue them and live life on your terms. The majority of MGTOW seem to be celibate, but once again, it's not a necessity. A MG(H)OW could very well be having a girl (or more) he sees, it's just not his goal in life.

These concerns are orthogonal, and one could subscribe to all three at the same time. How you navigate this world is up to you, keep reading this material, try what works for you and make up your mind as you go along.

To me, MGTOW is dispensing with the red pill "game" entirely. Its great that RP men realize they've been had so they can come up with more self respect, but the object of their "game" is still women. The object of MGTOW is your own independence. All that alpha beta stuff is a load of crap when you don't even care what women want. It's not needed. Be what you are, nothing else, as much as you can, this is the goal...

Go RP first, then you may or may not find your way to MGTOW.

Although Red Pill is a sexual strategy, and therefore seems the opposite to MGTOW, RP is done through an awakening of the nature of women and relationships. In that sense, it ties in nicely with MGTOW.

Do what you want man. There are no strict rules how to live your life. Especially when it comes to women. Through life you'll drift several ways, just depends what are your goals and where you want to go. If you want to get laid then RP philosophies are a must.

I'll just add since you hinted that you're still fairly young, to consider whether or not you are interested in women. If you still desire sex and get those urges, then you should take what TRP teaches and apply them. Because it works.

Once you've had the opportunity to utilize the RP techniques with your growth and sex life, then when you reach late 20s or 30s you can decide whether you want to continue, settle down, or GYOW.

Don't follow any group, religion or whatever. Do your own thing, and look at MGTOW and RP merely as different perspectives to the default feminist one society has nowadays. Take what you think you need to improve your life and ignore things you don't feel fit with your personality.

If there is an MGTOW strategy with women, I'd say it's dealing with them so as to not let the fact that they are not the priority sidetrack you getting what you want from life. You can't just disclose MGTOW to everyone, the results would not be good with some people that you still have other reasons to deal with.

I don't think the two are mutually exclusive. Swallowing the red pill is a part of MGTOW. There's nothing that says you can't date women or anything. Just make sure you are looking out for your best interests and doing things on your own terms and not theirs.

I recommend that as a young man be a PUA. Bang as many women as possible and get it out of your system. The last thing you want to do is look back on a life of regret.

Once you got bangin women out of your system, then it will be much more easy to be MGTOW. Because the magic and thrill of sex will be gone. You will have a mind of, "Women. Yeah, whatever. Sex been there done that." A guy who got a lot of sex when young will not miss it when old.
