this is really funny to me because Predator is by far my favorite movie of all time. Every summer between school i'd basically only watch this and Return of the Jedi on a loop. i've seen Predator and i'm NOT joking, maybe 400 times. I know that movie so well I could put on a 1 person play without even needing to read a script. I know every word.

little side note, Arnold hated the idea of having romance in action movies. Only a handful of movies does he ever kiss or have romance with his female costar (True Lies, Running Man). he said it was so unbelievable to be in a high action situation and be thinking of romance. the girl in this is a perfect example. he saves and trusts her which could lead to total bullshit kissing scenes or whatever, but nope never happens, just helps her a little and tells her to get to the choppa.

but yeah, best movie ever. and it's a great little narrative about what a bunch of talented men who trust each other can do when they work together.

It's not possible to marry a "woman who shares your hopes and dreams." That means you have excess life energy that's not being devoted to her. Women's biology doesn't allow for that. She will pout and nag and bitch and moan and talk trash behind your back and scheme with her circle of harpies if she even gets a wiff of you still having "hopes and dreams." Women are programmed to destroy your hopes and dreams. I though I had found such a unicorn. The instant I married her EVERYTHING changed. I had told her exactly what I wanted out of life before we got married and she said she was in board. Two years later she was nursing our first daughter on the couch and we were arguing about her going back on ALL of it. Her exact words: "That's probably not going to happen, you married ME!" She then spent the rest of our miserable marriage complaining and trash-talking me behind my back to everyone who would listen about how I wasn't giving her enough love and attention and "mistreating" her. I wish to hell someone had told me all this in my early years. You young guys need to avoid entanglements with women like the soul-destroying parasites they are.
