A couple of years ago I was going through a real shit time. Lost my job, lost my place, a family member died, another killed themselves and two others diagnosed with Cancer. I was having medical issues, and a lot of other shit. I never looked for sympathy but whenever I had to explain my situation to a woman I would get interrupted- Oh, we're talking about our troubles now? This is my favorite subject! They would cut me off and start telling me the most inane bullshit- she didn't get her coffee that morning or her boss gave her a mean look. Women really don't give a fuck about anyone but themselves and no matter how easy their lives are they love to complain about how tough everything is for them.

For me, a large part of leaving women behind was focusing on friendships. I didn't realize how much I was missing out on. Not just your typical bro types, but having a mentor and being a mentor myself. Having someone to compete with, to be a rival with, someone who inspires me, and another someone I hopefully can inspire too. When I found out about MGTOW I had hoped to hear more stories like this, but it seems a lot of men focus on that 'every man is an island' part. Which is their choice, ultimately, if that is their way it's their way.

But god am I a sucker for a good friend.

I remember during my divorce how low I was. Drinking, smoking, over-eating...the works. I was ready to reach out for help and that is about the time I began to understand that nobody gave a fuck about me because I was a man. I got a counselor who was female who just used her training on me (ie: How is this your fault and how are you going to change it?). I reached out to my parents and they gave me a lot of "Man Up" and "Just get another woman and it will be great for you!".

What really kept me from killing myself was MGTOW. It was hearing other men speak about their issues. It was how I began to learn "female nature" and how I wasn't the fucked up one, it was women. It was the system. I was my indoctrination by my single mother cancer.

That's just the thing though. That guy who is ultra blue pilled and gets fucked over by a woman. He's ready to kill himself. And all the advice he's getting from friends and family is that it's "His fault" and he didn't man up enough. Those are the men you have to intervene on and help. They are all alone. I made it out but others don't.

I remember one time my ex freaked out because she taught she had a throat cancer (turned out it was just a sore throat, obviously) and dropped a huge tantrum on me about it. After I suggested seeing a doctor, she said “Nah fuck that I’m to scared of doctors”. And, drumroll, she continued smoking cigs and tons of weed. After I calmly suggested she might want to give up smoking if she suspects something is not right with her throat, she fell into an even deeper melancholy and said that I’m not giving her enough affection and care.
