I've been doing some research on developing countries (specifically Sierra Leone, and their water safety), and I've noticed that every project or organization seems to help women or girls more. Here are a few sources:

These are some examples, I could find more. You could argue, that women and girls need special attention because of menstruation, but I think boys and men need as much attention as well. Infections in uncircumcised boys is extremely dangerous and common among these places, as well as many genital diseases and problems, etc. Overall, it sucks for everyone.

Even the UN is biased towards women's issues

The UN completely disregards MGM (circumcision), and how harmful it can be.

This image even shows how "We are collaborating with men and boys around the world to stop this". Excuse me, a 12 yr old boy is somehow responsible for this? Interesting. Also, it seems to be mainly women who carry on the tradition (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4n0zcsdoN0)

We already knew that a lot of this was women-biased, but there are also some good reasons.

Women have less opportunities in Africa

I'd like to hear what you guys think. I know that everything is biased towards the feminist standpoint, but there might be some good reasons.
