And this educates young men to avoid female contact on campus. If I was a young man in college I’d be avoiding women like the plague. No due process, no support and no legal representation. You can get kicked out or worse on her word alone. Time to protect yourself and don’t have anything to do with women in college.

MeToo changed the rule. If she doesn't find you attractive, your presence can be interpreted as sexual harrasment and you will be labelled a creep. There is no absolute figure on what percentage of women will interpret it as sexual harrasment.

Having worked in higher education, I’ve personally seen how harassment policy has changed. The key thing is it’s now defined by a behavior that’s unwelcome. This makes it not just about the behavior itself but the emotional state of mind of the person receiving or viewing the action in question. As the video says it can also mean something like approaching someone isn’t harassment 95% of the time and only becomes harassment with 5% of the women approached.

While I agree with his point, his case is not a case of a student being expelled from college for talking to women. He’s a non student who was reported for harassing and blatantly filming and asked to leave the property. Even if his action shouldn’t be counted as harassment, that’s not the same as a student going through a kangaroo court for something minor and being expelled.

Exactly one of the reasons I am single in my 40’s and only occasionally travel to the far east for “romance”. Women in the West are a humiliating financial / social/ legal / policy headache waiting to happen. Guys, there is nothing about these entitled, western females that are worth the risk of even a greeting.

I'm not sure I'd call it harassment, but I can understand the situation..

Notice she was friendly up until he mentioned he's recording a video..People are probably fed up with all this "making a video" thing...

It's a shame it happened to this young man in particular, as he is usually scrupulously correct.

There was a bit of snark in this one though - "I'm sure you call was really important" is ambiguous.

I remember when I was young, they said "if she likes you she'll slap you." That encouraged some pretty cheeky approaches!

This community will continue being a joke until it stops defending obvious sleazebags in the name of Men’s Rights. This dude is approaching random girls that he doesn’t know, with a camera, and he clearly is doing so because they are women and attractive, for the purpose of getting clicks for his trash channel. I don’t give a shit that he’s being polite. It’s weird and creepy as fuck.

And people here are losing their shit like “omg this is why men don’t know how to behave around women without getting cancelled or expelled”

It’s easy. Don’t do this shit. Treat women like normal humans. Want to socialise with women? Do it in settings where they expect to socialise, like a party or a bar (and if they’re not interested, leave them alone).

It’s very easy to not harass people.

Can we please not equate a non-student content creator going to a college campus to film people with men speaking normally to women in their campus community?

Don't advise young men not to talk to girls at college because this prop welding sponge got kicked off campus.
