Shout out to Hawley. Every time I see him he’s putting belt to ass on someone making absurd claims. Didn’t like him at first, but I’m glad I voted for him this last election.

I just saw the clip that has been floating around in which he confronts the MD who refuses to respond to the question "can men get pregnant?" I could not be more delighted that Senator Hawley is asking tough questions of people that would like to erase human sexuality and install an ideology that is more convenient for a small segment of the population (e.g. the far left).

In my view, if you are going to have men's rights. you have to have a clear definition of what a man is. A man is a person who cannot get pregnant but still has sexually defined rights. Senator Hawley seems to understand that.

I'm not familiar with Hawley's position on gender roles, and I'm no MAGA, but Hawley seems like one of the few actually based politicians out there.

I especially like that clip of him eviscerating the Boeing CEO for example.

I voted Democrat for 2 decades. After the Hillary Email server scandal back in 2015 they have lost their minds and unless there is a huge change to their platform I don't foresee myself voting for them ever again. When I see politicians speak, between the two parties, I certainly don't agree with many Republican policies, but I can understand the reasoning behind their positions. Democrats have gone off the deep end, so if it's down to a Republican I don't agree with versus a Democrat spewing nonsensical policy positions then I'll take the Republican any day

As for Hawley, I absolutely agree with him on this, that only men should be in the draft. Is it unfair, of course, but when we're in a war that is significant enough to warrant a draft then fairness goes out the window and what matters most is who wins.

I am a retired 21 year Army Vet and Afghan Vet who enlisted as an 11B Light Infantryman & later commissioned via OCS and retired as a Field Grade Officer. As a Vet I fully support a 100% Male only Selective Service registry. This is a men’s rights issue for the opposite reason you think, basic safety. In the event of total war triggering a draft and mass mobilization we need buku male conscripts principally for the Combat Arms, particularly for the Infantry. We need men physically capable of performing this task. We do not need females & non hackers physically & emotionally incapable of performing this task.

Anyone who supports co-ed Selective Service and Draft has never spent a day in uniform or if they did sure as fuck not in the Combat Arms. Combat Arms is a fucking Fraternity and it needs to stay that way for the good of the nation.

All male Combat Arms saves mens lives because you are surrounded by other men you can trust who are capable of doing the job. Co-Ed Combat Arms, and Combat Support MOS’ costs mens lives because you now have people incapable of completing the task sowing chaos within your formation.

Selective Service? come on man, we have enough real problems. There has not been a draft in over 50 years and there won't be one unless we go to war with China and even in that case I doubt it.

I think the only workable solution to the selective service problem is to maintain an army of volunteers strong enough that you don't need to institute a draft. Laws against a draft would be quickly overturned if the need is dire enough, and women have a relatively easy out just by getting pregnant. That's not even getting into considerations of troop quality and morale. You can't hand-wave away practical considerations like these as traditional gender roles if you want a functioning policy.

I gotta say though. In this case I agree with him. I get this is a key issue in MRA and it definitely shows gender bias in the system. But I think it’s a good thing to have some traditional gender roles in society.

I’m serious when I say I’d rather my son get drafted then my daughters because I know my son has a better chance of survival in war then my daughters will. This is just a biological reality that has always been there. I don’t want a war in which my son is drafted, but as we have seen with Ukraine a draft is sometimes necessary for the survival of our country. I would argue that we didn’t need a draft for Vietnam, but a draft was instituted for world war 2. Women simply do not have a chance in these scenarios generally.

I’d be in favor of a draft in which women are forced into support roles but I do not want women in combat roles ever. That’s just asking for mission failure.
