Twitter is a cesspool
I happened to be one of the few people I knew in my graduating class (2017) that didn't use it. Every day, kids were talking about Twitter and who said what and who got in a fight, it was pretty much the identity of most of my class. It's horrible that it's popular, because it is the epicenter of hiveminds of real dipshit ideas and beliefs. One idiot says some stupid shit and 5,000 people like it and it is revered as gospel, as is exemplified in the OP.
I should have screenshotted some of the stuff I saw on there when I had a Twitter briefly when I was 16, you could write a children's book with the stupid shit you see on there.

Unfortunately no. I will say that reddit has a lot more leniency in that people arent just banned from the site for not sharing the same opinion as the owners (or thats to my limited experience only been here since jan this year) but we basically police ourselves and theres subreddits that will ban you that you dont even have to be aware that they exist.

The big ones get banned. Right wing programs like Info Wars get shut down from YouTube as well. Right wing "women hating" censorship is a thing. Social media have double standards say you want to murder your ex-wife on Twitter and you get banned. I agree with you. However those two examples are pretty different. One is a imminent threat. The other isn't. So it actually makes sense to ban the person calling someone by name to commit a violent crime against. But ya. Even if we changed the volcano one to "I want to kill my ex husband I swear he's such a jackass" that would still be seen as empowering. Which is all kinds of fucked.

Full on capitalism has some pretty glaring issues. Communism on paper is supposed to fix those issues, however the system is extremely easy to abuse, and generally too extreme in it's execution. The best option is something in the middle.

And as usual, It's not communism! It's a social democracy which isn't marxist, keeps the free market intact for just about everything excluding things like healthcare and school (Private schools do exist, noone goes to them though.) and a whole lot of other benefits. Yeah, high taxes are a thing... Beats having to near completely look after yourself 100% and stressing out, however. Keeps people that are poor from having empty fridges.
