So because some students misbehave, the school decides to ban all students of the same sex, as if being male is the problem? These academics or administrators are sexist pigs, applying personal prejudices to problems that are not gendered. Punishing the people misbehaving is more appropriate than expressing personal misandry and sex discrimination.

This is from an internal circular passed to the students by a STEM university in the southern part of India.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis universities have started taking lectures online on live video sessions where a few students decided to “misbehave” by drawing obscenities with annotations on the professor’s screen or making inappropriate noises during the online class.

This led to the university putting out this internal notice to the students.

Don’t bother searching for news reports on this. There is no media coverage on this for multiple reasons, well, firstly, we’re in the middle of a global pandemic and second, the feminist media tries to shove these sort of things under the rug.

For those asking about the legality of this, this might theoretically be illegal according to the IPC laws in India but no one is really going to bat an eye. It’s not like you’ve got an entire police force dedicated to upholding the rights of ONLY ONE gender am I right? /s

You can't really be in charge of stuff when you just went deaf. They don't hear words , so maybe an air horn or 100 might be effective communication they'll notice. Patiently asking for fairness is making zero headway.

This kind of crap happened all the time here in EEurope. We screw with teachers, they got us on the exams, it was a "riot".

Eventually we grew, we chilled, they chilled... that's the life at Engineering a lot of energy in the first years and then a ton of work in the last years.

They gonna chill, once they start with "Material Science" and all that. Oh, they gonna chill really really good.

Until then, get the teacher a beer and apologize, you made the fucker man and he will screw you on exams each time.

BTW, I don't think this is discrimination. The guys annoyed him, the guys got punished. I also don't think there are too many girls there...
