Just be fortunate you work in a political system that allows equal representation. In the states, parties have to water down their passions to get ANY seats in congress (and that's how the big parties like it). You are allowed to be passionate about one or two issues and you don't have to compromise it down in your system and I truly envy you.

Even as a big MRA fan (and it's hard to say this and probably will get downvoted), I'm going to say this: egalitarianism is great, but don't burn political capital with it too much. The media will automatically side with the feminists against you, like they already have, and it doesn't matter what bullshit or made up crap they fling at you the media will take their side. Just focus on what started the Pirate Party in the first place. Gain some more power and maybe inspire the people across the pond to do the same. Corporations are chomping at the bits to control the internet in the same way they control the media.

Feminism and big government (with their major parties kissing feminist ass for votes) have always been big allies with the media as their bullhorn. Don't jump in that arena too early because that's exactly what they want. Feminism doesn't want any party succeeding without their blessing and the government doesn't like citizens getting all uppity about them controlling the internet. Enemy of my enemy is my friend. You'd have the major parties taking you on and they'll use bullshit excuses like "sexism against women" to disguise their true motives. I'm not saying bash MRA's or lie about men's rights. Just push it aside for now. The world is watching the Pirate Party right now. First impressions are key.

Focus on your strengths regarding the internet and you'll go nowhere but up. When you rise to the point where you are threatening the big parties, then you can start working in more social issues and taking on the old girls' club of feminism. You'll have crazy support from us MRA's and if you manage to prevent the enemies of freedom from messing up the internet too much...holy crap it makes me giddy thinking about it.

We MRA's know where our allies are. You'll have our support and we can always discuss these issues anytime you want.

There are a host of reasons why women's suffrage failed. One of them includes the fact that women tend to be more easily manipulated with shallow emotional appeals - hence, they don't think as deeply about the issues as men.

I can count the deep conversations I've had with women on one finger. With men, on the other hand, countless.

There's a reason wikipedia editors are primarily men. And there's a reason television is so inane - because women are the primary consumer.

These are of course generalizations - which just happen to be true.

When women think about and contribute to intellectual pursuits on par with men, without having to be incentivized by an outside source, then you can tell me that women think about the real issues on the same level as men.

Abstract: In this paper we test the hypothesis that extensions of the voting franchise to include lower income people lead to growth in government, especially growth in redistribution expenditures. The empirical analysis takes advantage of the natural experiment provided by Switzerland''s extension of the franchise to women in 1971. Women''s suffrage represents an institutional change with potentially significant implications for the positioning of the decisive voter. For various reasons, the decisive voter is more likely to favor increases in governmental social welfare spending following the enfranchisement of women. Evidence indicates that this extension of voting rights increased Swiss social welfare spending by 28% and increased the overall size of the Swiss government.

Academics have long pondered why the government started growing precisely when it did. The federal government, aside from periods of wartime, consumed about 2 percent to 3 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) up until World War I. It was the first war that the government spending didn't go all the way back down to its pre-war levels, and then, in the 1920s, non-military federal spending began steadily climbing. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's New Deal — often viewed as the genesis of big government — really just continued an earlier trend. It isn't the job of our opponents to argue against the fringe and extremist groups, because all they do is use it to undermine our legitimate positions. It doesn't matter if we silence them or try to distance ourselves from them, people decide their own identities and thus will undermine us regardless.

Instead, we need to embrace those who have extremist views (unlike the feminist movement) and argue against them ourselves. We need to show the rest of the world what our movement is about by not only fighting against our detractors but also against extremists who would co-opt our positions for their own twisted purposes.

I think the MRM would be less critical of feminism is mainstream feminists would take a more public stance against their own fringe movement, just as feminists would be less critical of the MRM if MRAs would try to silence and spend effort on pretending the traditionalists and misogynists don't exist. But we view that as dictatorial, and they view us as short sighted.

I might be a peculiar and rare case but I can GUARANTEE you that EVERY, single, serious, problem in my life in the last four years has been caused by either this or that woman, either directly or more frequently indirectly.

But I do not hate women, I no longer even despise them, I have grown into the realization that they are just children, or half-way children, and you can't be angry at children for their immature actions, not matter how much evil those actions are and how much pain and sorrow they cause to me and the people around me.

We should be angry at parents of those "children", or like the Arabs say "their Guardians", Western men, like me, have forgone our duty as Guardians of female immaturity and we are now only beginning to pay the price for it, in this society almost all men are forced to be white knights and hypocrites, and this is sad beyond belief.

Women directly adapted to act as the nurses and educators of our early childhood, for the simple reason that they themselves are childish, foolish, and short-sighted, in a word, are big children all their lives, something intermediate between the child and the man.
