I'm a man and when I think of men, I think of the bad things first and the good things secondary.

Sometimes I will hear about a program for men or help being provided for men and a voice in my head will say "but men don't deserve help".

I feel that society does a good job of teaching everyone about the dangers of men, but it does a shit job of teaching everyone about what's good about us.

When I hear of bad things that men have done I cringe. I don't want these people being the same sex as me.

What is worse about this situation is that I know better. I know that men do a lot of good in society and that it's men who are providing essential services in hard jobs, and men who are looking after others out of their own kindness.

I also know that there is less difference in the crime rate of men and women than the media and the criminal justice system would have us believe.

But, this is what you get, when society has told you from when you were young that men cause all the problems in society. When society tells you there would be no wars, no famine, no hate, no problems of any kind, if women ruled the world.
