This sub, as most of you know, has largely dropped off in activity. New posts are rare and engagement is low. So what would so inspire me to suddenly take time out of my busy life to write a new post here? Simply put, because I felt like I had to.

If even one guy here reads this and is saved from reading the festering sewage fire of a book that is being pushed by Complimentarian Inc. (read: Doug Wilson via Canon Press) and being mentally castrated by it, I will consider the effort well worth it.

Doug Wilson has been a controversial figure when it comes to the so-called "Christian Manosphere" for some time. Dalrock has been his chief opponent and has written extensively on why Wilson should not be considered a "Red Pilled" pastor. That has been proven in starkest terms with the the recent actions of Canon Press promoting "Men and Sexuality" by George Gilder.

Chad Hominem

George Gilder is nothing short of a woman worshipping giga-dork. His book "Men and Sexuality" is his attempt to convince you to shred your man card and cut your own metaphoric peepee off like he has.

Long ago Gilder was the focus of an article on Wired The opening of the article is nothing short of damning. Before quoting it I feel compelled to warn you that your T levels may drop just from reading what a crippled beta Gilder is:

"George Gilder's wife prohibits anything stronger than Lipton tea at home, so when his connecting flight from Chicago O'Hare to Vancouver, British Columbia, is delayed, he takes advantage of her absence to hit the Starbucks for a bolt of caffeine or two. Or four. Four cappuccinos!"

If that doesn't trigger your "this guy might not have anything worth saying about women or marriage" alarm, you should close this post right now and go check yourself into the emergency room because you might not have a pulse.

Whatever his other accomplishments, and there arr many, George Gilder is a servile pursedog who grovels in obedience to his wife and should be ignored.

Straw Man-osphere

Some will think this is taken out of context and not fair. I assure you, this is tame compared to the bloviating pussy worship that saturates his book. Here are just a few examples with some brief commentary:

"The prime fact of life is the sexual superiority of women. Sexual love, intercourse, marriage, conception of a child, childbearing—even breast-feeding—are all critical experiences psychologically. They are times when our emotions are most intense, our lives are most deeply changed, and society is perpetuated in our own image. And they all entail sexual roles that demonstrate the primacy of women."

"We must concern ourselves chiefly with women. Males are the sexual outsiders and inferiors."

"In creating civilization, women transform male lust into love; channel male wanderlust into jobs, homes, and families; link men to specific children; rear children into citizens; change hunters into fathers; divert male will to power into a drive to create. Women conceive the future that men tend to flee; they feed the children that men ignore."

Women was created as a helpmate to man in his carrying out the mandate of dominion, not the other way around as Gilder (and evidently Wilson) would have it. Don

"In virtually every known society, sex is regarded either as a grant by the woman to the man or as an object of male seizure."

Only a guy who has never been the object of female lust would write that.

"Greater sexual control and discretion—more informed and deliberate sexual powers—are displayed by women [than men] in all societies known to anthropology. Indeed, this intelligent and controlled female sexuality is what makes human communities possible."

Imagine seeing OnlyFans and women's social media and believing female sexuality is deliberate and controlled.

"Unlike a woman, a man has no civilized role or agenda inscribed in his body."

"Even in the context of the family, he is sexually inferior. If he leaves, the family may survive without him. If she leaves, it goes with her. He is readily replaceable; she is not."

Here that guys? According to Gilder the courts are right. Dad is expendable, kids should always stay with mom.

"Women manipulate male sexual desire in order to teach men the long-term cycles of female sexuality and biology on which civilization is based. When a man learns, his view of the woman as an object of his own sexuality succumbs to an image of her as the bearer of a richer and more extended eroticism and as the keeper of the portals of social immortality. She becomes a way to lend continuity and meaning to his limited erotic compulsions."

Gilder hisses out "Yasss queeeen" while he excitedly claps his hands.

"He must choose a particular woman and submit to her sexual rhythms and social demands if he is to have offspring of his own."

Want to dry your woman's vagina up quicker than packing it full of quick-clot? Submit to her demands. Again, this is written by a dork who doesn't understand female desire.

Geld by Association

The book is a trainwreck. Self evidently no man should listen to a word this guy has to say about marriage. If a man can't read the big "E" on the eyechart, who cares what he thinks the other letters are?

The publishers at Canon Press, who are actively boosting "Men and Marriage" to their audience, that's who.

It is safe to assume that they've read the book, which leaves one wondering why these so-called "pro-headship" would promote it. I think the unsettling but evident reason is because they actually agree with it.

Which, if they do, they should be treaed with the same mockery, disgust, and scorn as the guy wearing a furry suit jacking off to My Little Pony manga in a public park. Any man involved at Canon Press in any way needs to come out an oppose this endorsement publically, else we can safely assume his testicles are safely tucked away with the tampons and makeup in his wife's purse.

Sadly, they won't speak out and many well intended but naive Conservative Christian guys are going to read this book and adopt its poisonous premises to their own ruin.

Wilson is no friend of ours. Canon's promotion of this book is hostility towards men.

Complimentarianism is not enough. Any theology of male sexuality that doesn't begin at the 10th commandment is to be rejected and mocked.

Don't fall for this book and let the Complimenarians trick you into joining them in their emasculation cult.
