I guess I'm writing this because I have no one to talk to about this.

There was a thread that really shook me up: http://www.reddit.com/r/AskMen/comments/1dugqn/im_not_sexually_attracted_to_you_like_i_need_to_be/

Basically, a woman who lost weight (I'm guessing she's in the normal range? It's really ambiguous) and somehow stumbled into a relationship with a guy. Her boyfriend flat out told her that he was not attracted to her , and did not want to maintain a relationship with her since physical attraction is a must for him.

Rather than losing her boyfriend, she loses more weight and gets liposuction. Even though she is still in the relationship, she is getting paranoid and frankly seems miserable. She feels that if she gains weight, her boyfriend will leave her and she's becoming increasingly jealous of other women.

I'm not going to lie, I sympathize with her. Some of her comments are gut-wrenchingly sad. It's almost like changing oneself in order to stay in a relationship and going through this these emotions are worth it.

I know that sexual strategy/attraction is amoral. There was a lone comment at the bottom of the thread, downvoted. That is very rational. That she needs to suck it up, if he's worth it.

My question is, where does one draw the line in this situation? Should she stay or should she go? I know that the rational statement make perfect sense, but I also realize that emotions are still valid and real.

I don't really have a question, or if is the kind of stuff that is appreciated here. I just want to be able to open up some sort of dialogue about this with redpill men. What do you guys think of it?
