I don't know if this post is even allowed here because I am about to ask you to spend some of your money. I'm a little bit angry about the fact that the Vasalgel baboon study is not already funded. If you don't know what Vasalgel is read here

As far as I can tell this is the best foreseeable option of getting men the ability to fully control their reproductive rights, without sacrificing their ability to have children someday. If anyone knows of something better then tell me about it - I'm happy to listen.

I have heard Vasalgel mentioned a few time on TRP before and that is all well in good but here is the deal: they need 60k to fund a baboon study. They are 35k short. There are nearly 25k people subscribed to this sub. If half of you mother fuckers donated less than the cost of a latte they would be done looking for funds tomorrow. They could start trying to make this shit work and stop trying to figure how to pay for it.

There are a lot of posts where we bitch about no male birth control. There are a lot of posts where we talk about earning more money. There are a lot of posts where we talk about taking control of our own lives.

How about we all fucking do exactly that. Have you increased your earning potential? Throw a little bit of that at the baboon study. Did you spend 20 bucks on cover at a club this weekend? How about spending five on the baboon study. Did you spend 10 minutes bitching to friend about how much condoms suck? Spend 10 minutes filling out a stupid credit card form to get these guys some cash.

Here is another way to look at it. Right now, (4pm pst) there are enough reading this sub (~500) that if we all gave 70 bucks (the cost of a AAA video game, or one night out) it would be funded in the next hour.

I'm not going to tell you guys to 'man up' because that is shit. But don't be lazy. Don't think someone else will do it. If you want this, make it happen.

You don't want to donate? Fine I don't care - fuck you. But there is enough power in this sub alone to lift this funding gate in a day, if we actually decided to make it happen.

If you're really too lazy, or too poor, at least tell a friend who is not both of those things. But seriously, Kony 2012 did nothing and posting this shit on facebook or upvoting this rant won't do anything either. You can, but seriously just give 'em five bucks.
