So I used to overdo “asshole personality” and have been trying to calibrate it better. I am usually cocky when i carry myself and b/c of my masculine facial features and serious demeanor i tend to be a little intimidating to the point thst people don’t approach me. But in actual conversation i am friendly and polite. I also have a tendency to speak in a condescending/monotone voice and would be interpersonally patronizing to others to a slight degree, plus i would be overly sarcastic to the point of actually insulting people (this i have fixed however). Now people are calling me, “buddy” which i find to be patronizing. Does this happen to you guys? I usually just go with it b/c of frame but i do wonder how should i take care of this?
