So my experiences vary a lot. I usually never set a date more than 2-3 days in advance.

Sometimes I never text or talk, neither they, and they show up on time without problems, we have a good time.

Sometimes they text me first to confirm/make some banter, I of course respond and date goes well.

Sometimes I do sth like "7pm today?" as if i forgot exact time. She confirms, all good. Or I text 1-2 hours before I can be late 15min, she says no problem, then I know she won't flake.

Today a girl used my lack of contact as a reason to flake, I called her around hour before (we live very very close to each other and were suppossed to go to a park, like 5-10min away from our places) and she was like och we didnt talk, I assumed you lost interest, made other plans. We set date 2 days before, via phone call too.

So my question is, can the no talking period between setting the date and actual date be a valid reason for a woman to flake? Or are these just not highly interested women and i didnt waste my time?
