Have seen similar posts to this, but most are looking for hook ups, I’m looking for a relationship. And, this has become a pattern at this point so something is clearly happening repeatedly. I’m getting matches that I’m happy with on OLD. Getting first dates/meet ups that are clearly going well - great rapport established, great conversation, seemingly connecting, lots in common. Even getting some “cocky funny“ and kino in.

Sometimes at the end of the first date there’s already an acknowledgment of mutual interest to see each other again, other times I’ll wait to let her know I’m interested in seeing her again. In either of these cases if I reach out sooner I get flaking or no response way too often. If I wait for her to reach out it never happens.

Something seems to be happening between the very end of a seemingly successful first date/meetup and the efforts to set up an (often agreed to have) second date. Does my text game suck? (I really don’t think it does) Am I letting momentum die if I wait two or three days to reach out? Or…am I reaching out too soon? Or should I be calling them? Or, does it have nothing to do with any of this? Is flakiness or nonresponseivness ever a shit test? At a loss and looking for any input.
