Don't apply your expectation of male behavior on them. This is probably the best part of all the replies here

This is recoverable with "I'll pick you up at _____" I wouldn't reply anything to the effect of "Yeah it's still on" or similar Just pretend you never asked and shifted frame to her. She'll go along with it if you demonstrate value when you meet up. Have other girl as a backup anyway if you want..

Don't go to coffee I disagree. This is a very easy way to vet the girl with minimal investment in terms of time, energy and money. It's also easy to bail if either of you want to. If you bring them to event of some sort.. it's awkward to leave or you're fixed to a time schedule, likely. I this, and I that. She doesn't care. Focus on her. This I strongly agree with though.

girls like these are the reason why our society has cancer Guys like this are the real reason we have issues in society. If he stood up for himself and grew a pair of cojones, he'd be doing just fine. If all guys had a shared epiphany and stood up for themselves, the women would have to react accordingly. The fact is the guy is giving his shit to her so there is no need for her to change.

As with most females on online dating she has no idea how to create an interesting exchange I find this true of more than just females in more than just the online data environment. I find about 80% of people outside my main friends initiate conversation with the same lines like "what do you do?", "what are you doing this weekend?", "how's the family?". They're just trying to start a conversation that will hopefully lead onto something more interesting. I agree the Bumble guy had very little to …

Even though you mention validating girls in FB in Instagram, I'm assuming that was for the sake of the argument of "same outcome, no cost" (disregarding the having fun with your friends part). Validating girls on, or even using, FB or insta is also something I largely don't approve of, for clarity.

That would be your outcome independence. You're not chatting her up with the expectation of getting laid but the intention of getting laid. Whether getting laid by his girl comes about or not doesn't matter. It'll come around from someone...

Paying over the odds for something that you could get elsewhere for cheaper doesn't make you BP / beta when you get additional value from something else.. A lot of people buy coffee in more expensive cafes because of the view. Some people like to look out at the cityscape, some the city square, some the good-looking girls. Yes, you could buy coffee in the village market cafe but it's just not the same.... Again.. to each their own..

Yeah, living with family is a big DLV and makes it easier for a girl to decline to defend their reputation (ASD). But your situation will change over time so don't worry about it - just keep practising.
/r/askTRP06/06/16 04:25 PM

it's certainly one way to approach this. Equally, you could just avoid her questions "wouldn't you like to know what i'd be doing instead" or "seeing a man about a dog" or "question me again woman and you will feel my fury" (joking) overall, be fun, be playful, be interesting, don't lose frame. Go slay 'em

Single girls and LTR girls both a reputation to upload within their peer groups. Of course, more is at stake for them in an LTR, though, as you say. Same rules apply. Isolate, escalate, give plausible deniability. You'd say the same to a single girl or not. You'd invite them round "for a coffee" or "to see my goldfish" or "to play Mario Karts" or to "watch Netflix" or whatever. Then whatever happens just happens and it was obviously not on either of your minds beforehand.
/r/askTRP05/06/16 04:06 PM
1

they seem to like your company but force YOU to make the ultimate move they can actually shut down They're not forcing you to make a move. They're leaving the escalation up to you. So, as a man, you go for it (or not) as you so please. Don't worry if they reject your escalation. They're rejecting what you said, not who you are.

do you guys usually notice when a girl is being evasive on purpose? In what ways are you being evasive, do you feel? Because I told this guy I have a boyfriend here and there and he seems to shrug it off which makes me think he knows I'm into him This is the best behaviour. He is in control of his frame and not appearing butt-hurt. Ooh he's drawing you in goooood.

It's interesting to hear this from the horse's mouth. I am in an LTR 5 words on your LTR and 100 words on your side-piece. I'd be keen to hear what you decide to do in your situation.

The usual signals. Escalate interactions, gauge interest, give her denial plausibility. She can come round to listen to you play piano etc. Or you can go just go arrogant asshole. Whisper sweet nothings in her ear about how you want to do blah blah to her. If she giggles/agrees, she's keen. The gaming process is not really different. Just make sure the LTR isn't there and give them deniability.
/r/askTRP05/06/16 03:26 PM

You are in control of the branch swinging. She won't let go of the old branch until she is firmly grasped in the new branch. If you don't let her firmly grasp, she can't swing. You can let her try to grab on and you can extend your branch out from time to time to see what she's offering but never fully let her clasp around you. Yeah, I'm stretching this metaphor but you get the point.

If you just wanna bang. Go 'head. If that's your thing... taking over the LTR position of another dude seems foolhardy.

I'd likely take from it that you feel comfortable/friendly around me but little more. Further analysis could be based on how long I'd known you, how many times we'd eaten together before, my knowledge on your culinary preferences and maybe more, but I probably wouldn't bother. What were you trying to get across, if anything?

Chasing taken women is a sign towards a lack of abundance mentality. I disagree. Trying too hard with any girl would be a sign towards a lack of abundance mentality. Trying to game a girl with an LTR is an indication that.. he is trying to game a girl... who happens to have an LTR. Why would you chase an obvious branch swinger? I didn't get the impression he wanted to shack up with this girl. If you consider that every girl is a branch swinger, in the right scenarios, then you'd be ruling out ga…

"I'm heading into London/City/Area on Friday afternoon. You should come, too." You don't have to be too specific. If she asks about what you're going to do, you're onto a winner. Then, you can reply many ways 1) specific activities e.g. "cinema. I'm keen to see [film]" 2) be generic e.g. "a few things. We'll get some food in there, too. It'll be fun" 3) be purposely evasive e.g. "you'll find out! You'll enjoy it." Choose something to fit your persona. Try a few out over time. See what works for …

Maybe there's one job at the end of the road between the two interns. Hard to say how it will play out. Hard to say how day-to-day roles will be affected. It probably carries low-risk with this role/job/OP but I stick to my original comment. There are so many other people to choose from.

I assume you mean AWOL instead of A-wall. If not, please let me know what you mean by that term. You probably guessed right. You will lose no more by being specific and asking for a specific date. You could try this now or in a few weeks/months/years time, depending on how you feel. It was an uphill battle from the start, which you didn't seem to play optimally. Approach more women, use different approaches, see what works for you. This one is likely not a goer. Good luck.

Measuring your happiness with respect to women is a fools choice. You can choose to be happy based on many things. You have an internet connection and a phone/computer. You're ahead of a lot of people already. You have a good job that you enjoy so you're ahead of maybe 80% of people! I am confident you have the ability to be awesome, like any one of us. The majority of people in the UK go to university (college in US) for the "university experience". This means moving out of home, having little real responsibilities, a wad of money [as a loan] and no discipline. Date around a lot, sure. But remember you're purpose is to get the most of your education. You're doing CS, so at least you're not wasting your time on gender studies or viking studies, etc. Keep on top of your life in every situation. Women are supplementary to that.

Make sure you get paid for your internship. For some reason, people think it's acceptable to work [in intern positions] for no pay - both employers and employees. IT in general is highly male-dominated. If you're in a large company, there may be other departments like marketing, sales, admin etc though. Generally avoid any office romances. The golden rule is make sure they have more to lose if you do have an office relationship. Be excellent and work hard. Make your boss look good (and the boss …

If she grabs your arm, she's interested. If she has her hand on your chest, make a move. If she has her hand on your face, she's keen. Context is key, as always. Touch means a lot more in an open environment like outside or even in a non-crowded bar. It means less in a packed bar or club as there is less physical space anyway.

There's a difference between "the truth to his GF about every single thing" and "not lying" though. You can adequately answer all questions with truth but avoiding giving an answer they are looking for. This is all very abstract at the moment though and I think you've taken it to an extreme where "telling the truth == she knows every detail about me". That doesn't have to be the case to successfully satisfy a "no lies" criterion.

Should that be enough to sparkle attraction with women? No. Attraction is based on interactions. SMV increases your odds in getting more interactions and more time to demonstrate value in the interactions. You'll still need to game them... just your job should be a little easier for you

It's a very bad decision to change your game and try harder with "one of the cool ones". Often, they see through it and you come across as needy. If anything, game the cool/good-looking/fun ones harder. One of the RSD guys had a video saying he negs a lot more with the hottest of the girls: "I'm just going after the low-hanging fruit with you". If you do the opposite, you will likely fail. I generally agree with what you've said, above. In fact, you're argument was almost a type of logical fallacy, though. I forget the name of this particular type. An example would be that: "I am all for saving the planet and recycling" "But /u/darkredsubmarine, you don't recycle" "Yes, you're right, but I'm still for the idea of recycling, just because I don't myself." Liken this the situation of the lies. I may lie in secret [and not get caught] but I'm still against lies. Hence, still punish. I…

I think everyone goes through that at some point of uni at least once - certainly towards the very start when everything is new and scary. If you want to, meet her later and be a rock to her storm. Let her open up and you can absorb her feelz. Carry on as usual after. If you want to, tell her to sort her own shit out as you're busy. If you want to, tell her to talk to her parents or trusted people in her life. Carry on as usual after. If you want to, tell her to join a gym to distract herself fr…

There are few details to work with here. she did not want to be here in the same location? where? on Earth? suicidal? Call the police. in a relationship with you? Dread and next etc. The usual. How would you deal? Do you live with her? How long have you been going out? What do you think you should do? The best I can gather is that if you were busy, tell her you'll talk about it later and to keep her chin up [if you can be bothered to deal with her shit].

I would say it's tangentially related, at best. It's Machiavellian to have a set of rules that you are seen to abide by and enforce, while silently having your own code of conduct that you actually abide by. A form of power-play. If this is the case, it's probably of critical importance to enforce the rules of no lies, in this case [while telling lies yourself and not getting caught]. Of course, if he isn't telling lies to her, the same applies to enforce that she doesn't tell lies either.

I'm about as happy as I can be for you, given I don't actually know you. I embrace the idea of your successes gained from the truths learned from this community. However, this post isn't helpful or insightful for the community at large. It could be slightly improved by adding some specific lessons learned at the bottom of your post. It would be greatly improved if you could combine a number of field reports around a particular theme and then share that with the community

I don't go in for this school of thought. I'm not going to laugh at someone else's joke to make them feel good. Hopefully they'll stop telling shitty jokes. I focus on just doing a good job. If they fire me, I'll just get another job. YMMV with this approach. I'm doing okay.

You handled it well. Call her out. There's an idiom in this community to punish quickly and reward slowly/sparingly. I find it odd to call someone an LTR after 4-5 months.

With the current abundance of "chubby, horrible things", likely not. I saw a girl called Chanelle in the UK was applauded recently for wearing a bikini on a popular, daytime TV show called Loose Women. She was being appluaded for being fat confident. I don't understand people.

We have a game called "eyebrows" used when someone makes a ridiculous claim like this. The idea is that you now have to follow through with your claim and, upon inevitable failure, shave your eyebrows off to show your shame. I wish to play eyebrows with you now.

I briefly dated a Russian girl who didn't speak much. The effort required to try to initiate conversations was cringeworthy. Even if you get laid... Is it really worth the hassle and boredom of the dates? Edit: just take her to a club scene if she gets back to you. You're doing the best thing, imo.
/r/askTRP03/06/16 08:41 AM

Yes. Had a female housemate for about a year. A chubby, horrible thing. She would use POF (a dating app worse than tinder) to "see what was out there" and "a free meal, if nothing else". Baffles me that guys would take her out in the first place. Then pay for her meal and drinks. Go home with a pity kiss on the cheek. And probably feel good about their "date".

Who cares though? Let's evaluate this in terms of net gains and losses. OP validated her and loses the time it takes to send a text to the effect of "I am willing to have sex with a female" EX has an n% likeliness to actually want to hook up. Even if n is about 5%. It's still a good return.

She knows what she did wrong. Or, at least, she thinks she knows. Nonetheless, she's taking the blame. No need to punish beyond your lack of time/responses/comfort. Let her work harder for you for a while. Move on. Never explain to her or to other people. You don't need to justify yourself. You're a grown ass man.

I found my acne was almost entirely due to my poor diet and lack of sleep. When I found alcohol, this compiled. Among any scrubs and routines you want to try, live a healthy lifestyle. The friend from college seems a bit strange but he's alright. You didn't expose anything. He was just being a bit odd but maybe its a one-off. Give guys tips on girls if you genuinely know what you're talking about and they ask for the advice. That's PUA and body-language stuff, not really TRP specifically. Anything to help a bro pick up a girl is generally a good thing. A lot of the TRP terminology comes from PUA e.g. alpha, beta, orbiters, white knighting. So that's all good. When it comes to …

The consensus is no. The community is strongly-opinionated. Have you seen The Matrix? Morpheus: The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. The extra money I could save from cohabiting is somewhat irrelevant as I have no large financial responsibilities e.g. wife/kids etc. Only the rent. I love the persistence. It becomes a battle of stubbornness and I can be very stubborn. Let her imagine all sorts of scenarios in her head from "is/was he a virgin" to "how many other females has he feasted on this day"? The location is important if they really are cornering and pestering you. If it's your place, you can say "enough, please leave". If it's their place, you can just leave. I can foresee this this happening: Bringing a girl back after some event. Room-mate hanging around in the living areas etc. Not enough to be "actively" cockblocking but annoying enough to be... annoying. With a bro, he'd give you some space or fuck off for a while. The money is in financial tech and they're pretty well known for using the sold, stable languages. Too much risk for them to try out the new, fancy stuff. Java and C will get you far. (or .NET) Android/Obj-C/swift if you want to do mobile. Mobile moves quickly though with new libraries/versions. Or specialise in some niche area like database tuning. Incredible money but harder to come by. Web languages if you like visuals and to work mass-market products. R if you want machine learning and stati…

Personally, if she feels she can message this guy back, you've probably not set the boundaries properly. Another problem is what do you guys do/say when someone she fucked before messages her like a year later? Don't get butt-hurt or defensive or assertive. Laugh it off or otherwise ignore so she knows you don't feat this guy as "competition". Apply dread. Improve yourself. Note: If she wants to swing branch, she'll do so anyway with or without you knowing. Just focus on yourself and the right b…

Pretty sold advice. Unfriend her or block her somehow. You describe it like you're getting a fix out of seeing this girl's profile. A vice like that isn't going to help you with anything in your life. Go to the gym or do something else that will help you in life. Read, exercise, meet other people etc...

Personally, I just become the person I want to be and naturally meet like-minded people on the way. I don't "search" for these people. I do understand your point, I just don't see it as a viable mindset, at least for me.

It's sad you guys don't see the analogy between these cam-girls and this model in the OP question. I'll make it stupidly clear: both the model in the OP question and these cam girls are not genuinely there to talk or have sex, they only want votes/money. Sigh

Assuming you have a good relationship with your brother and family as a whole, you should be his best man. He's your brother. Your blood. By all means discuss your issues with your brother about who he has chosen if you want to.. but if he goes ahead anyway.. be at his side. Regarding time commitments, ask him to ask someone else to arrange the bachelor party if you feel you won't have time. Else, ask him to have two best men or some other arrangement. Maybe controversial but I guess this is hig…

Well my 2 cents would be to tone down the negging. It's a power tool that loses effect if it's all you use. If people aren't being dicks then just STFU. I agree with /u/MentORPEUS, I much prefer bringing people up. Only if warranted though and if I genuinely want to compliment someone. You have a lot of power and influence given your height, physique and career. Try to find other people that excel at life as guy mates. Maybe try submission and bondage stuff with females. Maybe try to read more t…

I'll let her have this one but with what I've put her through I'm definitely in control. Cool. Sounds like you're getting what you want then. Going to get another girl tomorrow probably but for now she's the only girl. Again, good news. Back to the original question.. she's coming to you and it's the same general logistics in terms of time. Let her arrive and leave when she decides. If it suits you, great. If not, think about it more. Just base your decision on how she acts on the night. I wish …

You're 20. I live in the UK and it's common for children to live with their parents into mid or even late-twenties. At 20, it's the norm to be with parents or at university. I want to live a life of happiness forged by hard work and sacrifice. It doesn't really sound like it. I was considering taking out a small loan(6~8k) and buying a car, then renting a really cheap room while looking for a job. This sounds terrible. Unless you need a car for travel for a job. I wouldn't worry about moving out…

You are living in her frame, in general. I wouldn't even worry about the time change, 30 mins is not much. I'd probably pay attention to what time she actual arrives though. Actions > words and all that. Said she must be gone by 9. When it comes to 9pm, if you want her to go, tell her to leave. If not, don't. She'll leave it she wants/needs to anyway. If she stays its because she chose to stay and could get away with it, really. Actions > words, always. But yeah, in general, she's calling the sh…

I make black hearted jokes usually at peoples expense in a mocking way. I pick at peoples flaws and openly mock them in public when I feel they have slighted me or are trying to one up me in the social hierarchy. You don't have to be that guy that always puts other people down. If people are slighting you consistently, try to remove them from your life. I date women beneath me in looks and value because I enjoy belittling the people Nah, you're afraid of being hurt again as you say later. Don't …

Firstly, don't apologise or justify your actions to her (ever). Due to the extreme nature of this event, the next even has to be the same. Not a date, meal, candles. Invite her to your place, drinks, sex. If she plays ball, let her know she's a good girl. If not... someone else will take over spinning that plate for you in due course.

Revel in the difficulties you have now and appreciate the ease with which it comes at a later date. Life wouldn't be fun if everything was easy. I would like to develop a way to get easy pussy, reliably, with low effort. Escorts? Or not. To each their own.

You've gone from being angry to being rude to being passive-aggressive. Try not to get so hormonal about these things. The premise of this whole sub is: Any girl will fuck you given the right level of attractiveness and good enough logistics. (Logistics here include whether she has to tell her friends, parents, goldfish or whoever else e.g. by getting a lift from someone.) If you disagree, perhaps look to comment elsewhere.

She not only feels awkward but grossed out at you failing to disrm her ASD I like how people go to extremes to make points on these subs. I hadn't thought of it this way before now. Still, I believe should I chance upon this girl again that the right attitude can swing her the right way. Time will tell on that front. If not, hey-ho, of course. Soft next.

If it went down as you claim, she seems a bit crazy. To just get up and leave, that is. Maybe you said/did the wrong thing. She says "I feel like you only wanted sex". My reply was "sometimes". We chat. Well she carried on talking after this cute test, so you probably had good odds for a second go. I would have probably invited her for drinks with the intention of bringing her home after, though. It would give a shred of plausibility to "it just happened", for her to indulge and not feel like a …

I sometimes send a generic neg along the lines of "well you're great at conversation" or "do you know more than one words replies?" For the effort of a few seconds, the net gain is that a couple of girls will try to be more interesting. Some will scoff and unmatch or simply ignore you. Fair enough, you know where you stand. Just don't get butt-hurt about these things.

Adding and God-forbid talking to someone you don't know on Facebook is creepy. If you know them, where do you know them from? Better to approach them there, in person. Brownie points if you just walk up to her group at a convenient time and setting. Note, there are rules on dating someone you work with and a good post on the main sub recently. TLDR was make sure they have more to lose than you if people find out. If you knew the person from a time gone by.. do whatever you want. You're not on th…

Sorry to tell you, but she defintely wanted the D. Yeah, alas she didn't get it. Shame. "Yeah. That would be way too fast." This has nice phrasing - I will say this next time. Thanks. If she's rejecting you advancing and taking her clothes off, use some PUA stuff. Freeze out. Cut the action completely and pull back and do not make any steps towards getting back into action and seem to be completely unaffected. Instead let her work for it and maybe reject her or stay a little bit colder. I was pr…

Truth is, your first date happened when she saw your picture and started asking about to you. Interesting perspective. Regarding the rest, I don't really have the enthusiasm to start rumours like this. I'll likely end up seeing her again in the future anyway at some party or event so I'll just work on myself for now. If not, hey-ho.
