really was about him coming into my apt and taking my son's school snacks after being asked Yooo taking my SO's snacks is dumb but taking my SO's kids' snacks is a whole other sense of entitlement(I wouldn't even take my kids' snacks!). "Stingy" is all he can say to cover up his mistakes hehe. So much attitude for buying a 3$ food item.

This is exactly the advice my friend gave me an year ago!! My friend recognized how this guy whom I would think about all day, would never return my texts at all - even if he did, he would return it after 30-45 minutes! I still kept going after him bcs I saw a lot of myself in him. This is something that all women do normally - women have been taught for ages that they should do all of the things in this post. This is smth that any responsible partner, male or female is supposed to do. OP is just trying to point out that many of these skills aren't even expected from men as much as they are expected from women - in fact if a man does all of these he's considered to be an HVM while if a woman does this she's considered to be "normal".
