Just started my savings goal of 50k that I should be able to reach in two years time for a house deposit to go towards a 200k house.

In South Asian and Muslim culture, a lot girls have a societal pressure to marry young and settle. And I have had a lot of young educated Muslim guys come up to me and say I CAN'T DEMAND HE OWN A PROPERTY BEFORE MARRIAGE!! The audacity!! If a Muslim man can't provide for me before marriage, then I'm out of there faster you can say 'hot potato'.

I'm moving abroad to teach English next year. I will have a starting salary of 45k a year. I don't know if I will stay abroad or come back to London when I'm 30. I'm 24 at the moment.

But one thing I know is after dealing with a NVM ex who tried to fuck me over and many LVM interactions, I LOVE BEING SINGLE.

And it's going to take a very special HVM to change that 👋

For me, it's a clean and quiet home, not having a ton of laundry to do, and cooking whatever I feel like eating without arguing about what to eat. There's so much peace in being single and living alone.

Yes! Clean sheets, clean room, clean eating, journaling, reading good books or positive films, waking up early and feeling rested in my own home! In summary when I think about it, even the wealthy ones, I don’t want to spend another minute letting LVMs, dim my light, lower my vibration or slow my growth.

I value my personal space so much. I think if I was to ever live with a man we would have separate bedrooms and bathrooms. We can occasionally sleep in the same room, but I’ve to enjoy knowing that certain spaces in the world are mine and mine alone.
