The usual fallacy of men preferring blond girl. That is actually false, more men prefers brunettes. However, blond come in much more limited supply, so the average blond girl get more man attention than others. Stats aren't always what they look like, and this article do not look like really seriuos when using them.

Having sons reduces the likelihood of divorce

Their explanation is that men stick around more when they have sons because men who did so reproduced more. This seems confused because it's overwhelmingly women that initiate divorce. This may not have been true historically (I don't have the numbers) but I don't get the impression that the author has really thought this through. They're just using stereotypes ("common sense") to build theories to explain what they observe. It's bullshit.
