I have been feeling very strongly about Men's Rights. So much so that I wanted to create a facebook page and disseminate information on what men. I specifically wanted to avoid pointing out the consequences of feminazism. So I created one and invited my best friend to like it.

He calls me in the middle of the night when he finally gets to seeing it and says that I should delete it immediately because:

  1. This will make you look weak. People will think you are weak
  2. He mentioned that being seen as part of men's rights will reflect on me poorly to my future employers.
  3. Women will think I am someone to be avoided. He mentioned that women are going to really not want to not have anything to do with me because of this.

He recommended that we only speak about this privately and not put it out publicly in facebook. I'm confused about what to make of this. This is a friend I regard highly. He's pretty smart. He runs his own business, has been a software developer for 2 years before that, well educated and everything. I am confused and have no idea what to make of this.

Has anyone else received similar reactions from other men? What do you think?

Edit: My apologies for the poor wording. I wasn't going to be a anti-femi-nazi movement guy. I was saying that I wanted to focus on what's necessary for men. I planned on staying away from bashing feminisim (the theoretical one) or even posting anything remotely related to fanatical feminism. Once again, poor wording. Not my intention.
