I asked her kindly to leave the men's room and use her own. I told her that "just because we don't always use the stall to pee, doesn't give you the right to just barge into our bathroom and use it". She gave me this look like, "yeah right kid, no one cares". I simply stated that if I had gone into their bathroom, even for a split second, I would be escorted out by security and possibly have to talk to an officer for trying to be a peeping tom. She laughed it off and said, "yeah well at least you have male privelage in every other aspect of life". I simply stated that what she said was false and asked again to please leave the men's room. She and the rest of the guys in the room kept asking why I felt this way. I kept mentioning the double standard about what would happen to a guy if he walked into the ladies room. It got to the point where I was the only guy who gave a damn. She wasn't even good looking, and apparently I was acting like a psycho. This was based off of me asking her nicely to leave an opposite sex bathroom. So my question is, did I do the right thing, or is this not that big of a deal? It made me upset the way I was looked and scoffed at for being passionate about an issue like this.

Sorry for my terrible sentence structure.
