Edit: The purpose of this post is to express my displeasure at having my post removed as a "troll post." I have given some background info on my situation for context, but I'm pretty much happy with the decisions I have made.

So I had a nice run in with my wife this week. Told the story here. Long story short, she displayed some violent behavior and in the end agreed to seek anger management counseling, start marriage counselling and get back on birth control to regulate her mood swings. She texted me a few minutes ago to tell me that she's made the first of the three appointments, on Monday to see her GYN and get back on birth control.

Despite the fact that 99% of the comments on my thread were variations on "call cops, lawyer up, hit gym, facebook" I decided to try to give my wife one more chance to change.

Last night, we had a four hour conversation that was seemingly very productive, and I got her to acknowledge some thing about how she treats me that she never was willing to admit. I pinned her down on how she treats me like a unruly slave boy, I pinned her down on her violent outburst, and I made it totally fucking clear that the next time it happens she loses me and our daughter.

Then we had rough makeup sex.

So I told this story to MR, not so much for advice because I've seen it all before here...but simply to tell my story. Having some bros to pat me on the back and reassure me that I'm not out of line also is nice.

Then I get my post removed as a "troll post." What? Really? I'm a troll because I didn't call the cops. Are we really that rhetorically inflexible, what's next "benning" people for having the wrong tone? Are we to assume then, that this sub considers all women evil and incapable of personal change? If so, I want no part of it. There's a big jump from highlighting the societal injustice and social norms that devalue men to being anti-woman...after all isn't that why we dislike feminism?

This isn't /r/womenarecunts, it's r/mensrights. I wanted to talk about my experience, not get shit on for not following the party line.

Oh, FYI. I delete this and any posts pertaining to my marriage after I'm done getting feedback on the off chance that I leave my browser open and she reads my comment history. They're logged by the bot for posterity and she won't find them there.
