You have another option which is to see if the Sheriff can help you enforce the court orders you have. Otherwise, you may need to head back to court.

Try to document as much evidence as you can that she is in violation of the court order. Once you have some evidence, consult an attorney if you can afford one. They will probably know what the best way to proceed is: negotiation, filing a contempt case, or going back to the police. Best of luck.

(Also, I assume you say never have children out of frustration? It seems you value your visitation, so it seems that being a parent is important to you...)

Above is a well received suggestion I made to a father in a similar situation. You probably already saw it but in case you did not... there it is.

Not legal advice and you should definitely still continue to push that.

I would call once a week and have a friend with you if possible as you make the phone calls if recording isn't allowed. Recording just yourself is also legal (video of you on phone while not recoding other person's voice).

Chances are if it is a new law it may not have "trickled down" to local law enforcement yet, this isn't an excuse on their part but if you are giving up after two phone-calls, you have tried nearly as hard as people who have overcome such adversity.

While you record just you on the phone if tapping laws prevent more, be sure to have a pad and paper and write down what they are saying back to you. You are allowed to write down what was said, and while a shitty DA can try and say you made up the other end, if you document everything consistently a judge will be putting himself in a vulnerable position if he allows biases to keep the evidence out.

Not saying it's right, just stating that's the way it is.

I feel sorry for people who want kids. I really do. Sometimes I feel so lucky to have gotten to help raise my younger siblings, because it gave me as much paternal experience as I ever care to have.

Never have children is the wrong conclusion to draw. It's like agreeing to accept a choice between two poisons - one poison being the possibility of being excluded from your family, the other of never having children of your own.

Neither option is acceptable. The only acceptable conclusion to draw is the need for better legal protection for fathers.

Agreed... having a kid has rapidly turned into a weapon with which my girlfriend can beat me. I don't know why I ever bothered to take women seriously or try and decent to them. It's only ever cost me and honestly all the sex in the universe doesn't make it worth half of the shit I have had to deal with from women.

I love my son and I want to be his dad but his mother is making that impossible.

I agree it is far too risky. People need to understand they have no real rights to their children and could be forced to pay all or most of their take home income. Being a father can get you jailed indefinitely for inability to pay.

Why does one get the idea that if this situation were reversed (woman fighting to see her children which the dad got custody of, regardless of her ability to be a fit parent) we'd see a completely different story. The man would be labeled a villian and inhuman for denying the innocent mother a chance to see her children. Police would be acting immediately. There would be no explanations. They'd have filed the report themselves most likely and be knocking down his front door. Outrageous double standards.
