Sorry, but this is emotional bludgeoning.

AA shouldn't have said what he said, this is true, and not even he denies it. But it's immensely clear what SRSers try to do and succeeding at doing in that thread. I am immensely aware of the MO, and I've been seeing it from SJ types for years.

To be concise, they insulted him, his physical appearance, his lifestyle, his status as a human being, berated him unwaveringly, tried to beat him down to the ground with a swarm in such high numbers that I just guffawed with amazement when reading it, and when he's had enough of his self esteem being attacked in such a way that it's made people quite literally kill themselves on the Internet--almost as if doing this to someone can trigger memories of pain and hurt that are probably just as consuming as getting raped to that person--cracks, and wants to tell them all to them to effectively fuck off and die, he dare says the one thing that he knows will sting hard, and suddenly, that's too far, and little shits like you can now use these thought-terminating cliches until the end of time describing what an awful person AA to show just how offended and self-righteous you are.

Doesn't matter what his fans think. The way he handled it was just way too selfish and blunt that he wants stuff. To go further, if talk about people with fanbase who get married, a good portion don't go asking for items because of it. Hell most barely announce they are getting married, much less get strangers in the mix to participate.

He, as a person with free thought, can ask for anything. He could ask for naked pictures of women, drugs, candy, drinks, etc. The list can go on what he can request or suggest his fanbase to do, and his fanbase to some degree will respond to it.

So once again, I don't like the guy. He is an egocentric, and the bridal registry is proof of that. A humble man is not going to publicly put a registry of a personal event, that only affects himself and his lover. I don't see that as normal.
