I decided to check out some of the reddit pages for feminism, not women’s rights mind you, due to a challenge given my someone I was having a chat with irl, so here we go.

Feminism - It doesn’t seem that bad, there's the occasional nutter but most of it just seems to be women wanting to feel like they are breaking some kind of oppression and are so immaculate that they can be awesome through it all. The shallow look at a lot of things kind of irks me but the in depth look at things that tend to feed in to the victim complex is more annoying.

2xc - It really just seems like a circlejerk (can women do that?) that revolves around women (not in the gonewild way) it's kind of nice. Not much of a problem with it, except the white knights who seem to be everywhere, no deep though but that’s okay really.

Equality - it's like a blend of the two, it's good to see though it does bring a lot of conflict out in the comments. It's like the middle ground, the battlefield, the place no one visits because they don’t want to have their feelings hurt.

Masculism - strange place, it's sort of like a watered down version of ... well here: would check it out, name still sounds weird to me.

rainbow - gaaaaaaaay, thats what it is, gay stuff.

bodyacceptance - Lots of women who want to be happy in their own skin, some men as well. There's a place for it and it's far from the worst option people could take.

rapecounceling - seems like a reasonable place, unfortunate if you end up there, but I see not problems with it.

sexpositive - slut pride, depending on how you feel about issues like this it's great or awful. Can't say I had a fun time here, but not a bad time exactly: Could easily go that way depending on the comments section though (Any thoughts or opinions on "slut-shaming?")

Feminisms - Now we’re getting in the the scary stuff, this place is packed with the kind of feminism that wants women > men but claims equality, stay away unless your in the mood to feel pissed off.

Askfeminists - varies from okay to disgusting, some of the things that are said almost made me want to roll over and go to sleep. Some of them game me a little hope that there are other individuals that actually want equality.

Oaky, I think that counts as "seeing the other side." Maybe in the future i'll be able to actually try and talk to someone but for now I’m a little scared of some of these people.

One other difference between the men’s rights page and the feminism page that I found disturbing: they don’t feel the need to shout out suicidewatch…

So, anyone else have a tale to tell about their time spent with the other side of reddit?
