I think the more disgusting part of this whole thing was this:

Neither Mor nor Amsalem would say if they had sex with the woman, but their attorney, Paul Batista, said the rape claim "came from a woman who was drunk and who was plainly goaded into making it by a group of people with whom she was traveling."

WTF lady? Let's just make a game out of this. Might as well ruin two guy's lives because you know, it's fun. Not once did it tick in her mind that "this was fucked up" before calling someone a rapist? And being drunk is no damn excuse. It's never a damn excuse.

I don't blame the company for initially locking them up. They had been accused of a major crime. However, when she recanted and the doctor said plainly there was no evidence, why the fuck weren't they released? Also why don't we get to hear her name?

I don't know whether to shit or walk sideways on this one... There are so many things weird about the story.

Accuser unidentified, a couple of orthodox Jews going on a cruise, (not that there's anything wrong with that) and somehow getting tangled up with this accuser...and the fact that the cruise line had prison garb, and paraded the "accused" in public areas, and then kept them imprisoned for a week?

Also had a problem with the statement "Gestapo tactics".

Something smells a little fishy, and it's not the accuser's unraped ladyparts, or the lox.

I don't know if this belongs in MensRights or WTF.

If it happened the way these guys claim, then I hope that they do get a huge amount of $ from the cruise line. The only way to get big companies like this to pay attention is to cause them to loose huge sums of $.

If their claims are true, then I hope they also sue the accuser. I am sick and tired of hearing about women making false accusations without any repercussions for their attempts to ruin a man's life.

Women can't just go around tossing out the word rape unless it's, y'know, ACTUAL FUCKING RAPE. That word has powerful consequences that do way more damage than your hurt feelings when you wake up the next day and have to come to the conclusion that you're a slutty drunk and would have probably fucked your best guy friend as easily as you fucked some stranger.

She deserves to have criminal charges brought against her just as much as the cruise company.

This doesn't seem to add up. Granted, it might be just absurd bigotry, but what is the whole story here? I find this story very, very strange and the article terribly vague.
