This is a sad story. This is why I really don't like laws unless they're enforced with compassion in mind. Rules enforced without any consideration leads to this kind of sickening injustice.

As a South Australian, this is no surprise to me. We cannot bend-over enough for women here.

Back in my younger days; we had special math tutoring for girls (only) at school, they were allowed into civil engineering at Uni (with ~75% of the grade boys needed), they were given free one-on-one tutoring AND were given massive discounts on their Uni fees.

The funny thing is; after decades of this social engineering policy -- only ~2% more women graduated with civil engineering degrees. Still, more women dropped out or went back (to Uni) and did another degree and practiced in that degree instead.

I refuse to believe a "routine criminal check" was the reason for this. 45 years and a successful career and this never came up? No, this was political to get him out of the way.

You do realise that Andrew Bolt is Australia's answer to Rush Limbaugh? He's had civil suits brought against him for racial vilification, not to mention his track record of climate-change denialism.
