Nothing strange about women posting here. Women can and do contribute and partake in discussions, and be subscribers.

This would imply that you believe women are superior which probably sin't what they meant. Chauvinism is in essence the glorification of the own group, often to the detriment of others.

A male chauvinist is a man who thinks men are superior to women.
A female chauvinist is a woman who thinks women are superior to men.

I am not sure if a woman can be a male chauvinist and a man be a female chauvinist, as it's not their own group. Perhaps someone else could help shed some light on that issue.

I most certainly don't have a bleak view of women, for two reasons:

I cannot in hold a view on a collective group, as the people within that group are individuals.

and

Most interactions with women in my life have been positive.

Furthermore, I'd say that the majorit-view in here is that it's not women who are at fault but sexist legislation, a misandric society and sexism.

If it's any consolation, I'm adamant that the bad things that a minority of women do to men (false rape allegations) and that a surprisingly large portion of women do to men (ignore or deny their issues) is not because of any moral failing in women, but because society is structured so that they can (and hell, most men ignore or deny men's issues). If society were structured in a way that men could get away with and use false rape allegations for their own purposes, or with fucking over their spouse in family courts, I'm sure a similar number would.

I'm sure that most of us don't lump all women together in the "man-haters" pile. It's easier to talk about your bad experiences than to mention the good ones especially when you have either had none or have had very few.

I for one know that there are good women out there, but understand that when someone says "not all women are like that", that most of us will usually think "Yes, and every woman who has every wronged me said 'I'm not like those other girls'."

Needless to say, actions speak louder than words. Instead of lurking, why not share more of your opinions with us for starters. What men's rights issues do you feel strongly about? What little acts of activism have you engaged in. I can't say I've done very much myself. I've signed a petition here and there, sent emails to companies admonishing them for allowing misandrist posts on their websites or for promoting misandry in their commercials/tv program.

Women are welcome here, and we have many female posters. All we generally ask is that you keep an open mind. Feminists are sometimes met with hostility though.

Most people here don't think that women are "but I get wholly offended when all women are lumped together as conniving, men-hating, money grubbing, ect". We do sometimes bring attention to bad things women do, because there is a perception in society that women don't do bad things, or you can't say that women do bad things. We also sometimes draw attention to bad things women do to illustrate the double standard.

I think that if you are always looking for misogyny you can find it anywhere. If you always make the assumption that people are not women haters until proven otherwise you will not find this subreddit a female hostile place.

Women are sometimes lumped into a stereotype here, but this sub is fairly reasonable about that. In fact, I'd say it's way better than most of the top subreddits.

You don't need to subscribe, but I hope you'll read here from time to time. The biggest frustration about supporting men's rights is that people don't take men's issues seriously, so just doing that will help.
