The issue is that feminists have a serious problem with objectification of women (note, they consider pretty much anything where sexual attractiveness is relevant objectification)

I have yet to meet a feminist outside the blogosphere that thinks objectification is a bad thing (as long as its, you know, their choice to objectify themselves)

and women themselves have no problem with furthering it.

So? That does not invalidate the argument that feminists are making.

Which, by the way, is usually not "only men do and its a tool of the patrirchy"

Its usual more of a "patriarchy permeates every aspect of society" type deal, as their definition of patriarchy extends and affects the actions of both genders.

Basically, IMO, that's not why their argument is wrong.

Its wrong because there is no freaking patriarchy.

Thats sorta the point. Its almost impossible to prove, so why the hell should I beilive it?

AntiFeministMedia would have to prove that women started sexual objectifying themselves before mass media started objectify women, and then prove that media objectifying women was directly or at least tangentially caused by women objectifying themselves, and then prove that these practeses are continuing to this day.

Sound like it can't be done? well, he could research advertisements and see how far they go back, and then talk to some anthropologists and figure out when (or if) women started objectifying themselves, then maybe read the dairies of the original ad mongols, or something,.

I dont know, its not my job to figure out how AntiFeministMedia proves his/her assertion. Its his/her assertion, he/she can figure out how to prove it.

If the evidence is good, be it a train of logic, or thousand year old diary talking about Egyptian advertising practices, I will accept it as proof.

But you're confusing attacking the quality of the debate with improving the debate. There is no special reason why a critic's demands need to be met, whatever standards you feel are to be assumed - are simply premature.

In regard to evidence, boys and girls were brought up gender neutral in Kibbutz in Israel, but girls spontaneously at puberty suddenly reverted to female gender roles - including paying dramatic care to their appearance. Ie no man made them do it, they did it themselves in service of their own agenda. I think they didn't even watch tv.

Further if you say it is impossible to prove whether someone does something from their own volition or is forced by others to do it - then the default assumption is that they did it from their own volition. Otherwise every criminal could say their were pushed into doing x crime.

A discussion forum benefits from the free exchange of information (including speculation), not the shutting down of debate - if you want to persuade people antifeministmedia is wrong, you need to add some info, you can't just accuse him of being lazy for not providing enough info/evidence/x - that's just lazy.
