Keep it minimalist. Buy a pullup bar. Keep tabs, maybe install a whiteboard. Try to keep your wardrobe organized. Make sure you have quality blinds for the night, keep it fresh and light for most of the day (open windows).

Congrats you're ahead of 99% of the population. I keep my room very minimalist. 1 art piece on the wall that highlight my taste (David Hockney - A Bigger Splash), and one art that I did myself.

Girls won't care about any of it other than cleanliness and to make sure you have no items that show you are an insane person. TV wall mount is okay too. I never use it but once in a blue moon watch a movie with a girl or something. Also, if you have a comfortable bed, girls will stick to that shit like crazy. For some reason it feels good when a girl treats your bed as a comfort haven.

A good sound system is great too. You'd be amazed how few people actually experience a good sound system. An aquarium/paludarium is nice if you are up for the effort.

Just make it what you like. You say you're renting a room in a house, so it sounds like you have to make this a place where you're comfortable hanging out as well as sleeping. In general, just be clean about it. Growing up, I always had a messy room, but it really does put your mind at ease having a clean environment. Minimalist designs are cool (and cheap), but it also means any messes you have will look worse, because there's less furniture/decoration to draw the eye away from it. If the walls are gross, ask if you can paint them. Carpet gross? See if they'll get it cleaned or get it replaced. Hardwood floors? Get an area rug. If they're not giving you attic/basement access in addition to the room, storage furniture will be your best friend.

First and foremost, you've probably heard it before, but spend the money for a good sleeping situation. I like memory foam, so dropping a grand on a mattress was a no-brainer. Weighted blankets are dope, too. Throw in a high thread count sheet set, and you'll sleep like a log.

You have end tables. Stock the drawers on whatever end you don't sleep on with convenience items: a universal phone charger, contacts case/solution, unopened toothbrush, whatever. Nothing screams "I have my shit together" like being prepared for guests. You can put whatever you want in yours, but I've found it practical to have some hangover cures in there. A bottle of water, some B12, and some Advil.

If you want to be fancy, here's a few practical ideas:

Wooden hangers - you should already be hanging your dress shirts, wooden hangers are a subtle, but nice touch. And if you aren't already, unless you're really handy with fabrics, get your nice shirts cleaned and pressed at a cleaner.
Full-body mirror - you don't have to go nuts, but something that will give you a view of your entire outfit, head to toe. Mine is 4' x 7', but I went nuts.
Bar cart - every man should have two nice bottles on-hand at all times: brown liquor (whiskey, scotch, brandy), and champagne. The liquor should be on display in a decanter of some type, with 2-3 glasses available. You should probably have a bottle or two of wine, nothing fancy. Most bar carts will have a rack for bottles, and a way to store wine glasses. Keep a microfiber cloth around to wipe dust from the glasses before drinking.
Bookshelf - it doesn't have to be massive, but you should have a few of the classics in physical editions. I'm not an avid reader, but I have things like The Art of War, Meditations, The Prince, The Odyssey, a few books for studying for upcoming certifications, and I've really enjoyed The Daily Stoic lately.
Armoire - another thing to pay good money on for a nice one. Keep the inside neat; expect girls to open the doors - as much as it irritates me, they nosey. It might help to have the remaining items of this list inside your armoire.
Jewelry organizer - A place to keep your watches, cuff links, chains, rings, nice glasses/shades. In my case, I have gages too. Might be worthwhile to get a nice set of dress shirt collar tabs and store them here.
Safe - especially since you're a renter. I only keep my guns, spare keys, and a few important documents in there. You may want to keep more stuff in there, in case your landlord is invasive. Rent payment receipts, medication, maybe even jewelry.

Decoration is tough to get right, if you want to go that route. It's all up to your style though. Do some research. Plants, paintings, sculptures, knick-knacks - it should all complement the room's vibe. Don't display cheap crap. No unframed posters from college, no flags, no Rubik's cubes, nothing that says "I'm a man-child".

I would say the important thing would be to keep your living space clean and neat.

In my apartment I have my guitars/musical instruments around so that always pulls conversations or impromptu jam sessions. I have some nice (cheap) paintings from an auction that’s professionally framed. A globe with locations I’ve travelled to always brings up conversation and curiosity in people. Lastly some trinkets from my travels or photos of awesome people I’ve met, framed.

Always keep some wine and/or candles on hand.

Furniture is pretty bland, most of it from Ikea. I have a decent amount of warm lighting. I keep the guns locked up and out of sight. I prefer a minimalistic design for a bedroom.

Hope you get some more ideas.

Fix the lighting first! Like others said.

I had white light office lamps on my ceiling when I moved in... noticed this killed the mood on a couple of occasions. Replaced with some second hand cool design lamps.

Put in a bookshelf, some paintings or cool posters on the wall. Some small audio speakers.

Trying to design a "masculine bedroom" is weird. Have you ever seen a bedroom that made you think "wow, that's masculine!"? Just have a bedroom you like.

I'll tell you what not to do first. I have a good friend that wanted to design his apartment to make himself look attractive to girls. He considers himself an intellectual and wanted to fill his room with sciency things. It ended up looking like a gift shop in a science museum. It just doesn't look authentic.

Decorating your room should be done to the most basic redpill rules. They are universal rules. And the number one is, don't do it to get girls. Do it for yourself. Put in your bedroom what you want to have in your bedroom.

My room reflects myself perfectly. It has my hobbies in it. Fishing poles, favorite rifle on display, bookshelf with reading chair, wooden desk I made myself, dumbbells, backpacking gear etc. I happen to like antiques, that comes in handy with girls because antiques have stories so they are conversation pieces, but again I have them because I like them first and foremost. I also have a lot of things on my walls, not just paintings, but more antiques too, old crossbow, WWII helmet, vintage Harley backpack among other things.

Some general tips. Keep your room very neat, and have some basic amenities for girls. I learned this in college, I had 4 other housemates, all messy, and so when girls would come over to our house to party they would come to my room to drop off their coats and shoes. They ended up feeling comfortable with my room more than others and would sometimes come in to smoke, use my minibar or fridge, or cuddle next to my space heater. It became a hangout place when people wanted to escape the big party for a bit. String lights made it cosy. Good speakers made it a mini party room if need be. Because it was my room it was my world and I could shut my door, play more own music etc. Eventually I had a permanent collection of girls shoes and jewelry which raised my SMV when I brought potentials over.

Another rule. No fucking posters. Made bed. No dirty laudry

For most masculine go full on hunting lodge style. Wood paneling, forest green paint, A moose head, some guns mounted on the walls, have some huge steaks ready to go.

Seriously- Just keep it clean, wash your sheets, don't have any posters or anything that screams, "I just got out of the frat house." The lighting tips are good. You can get nice bulbs on Amazon, or at Wal-Mart/Home Depot. Don't have a massive sound system, no reason to now with spotify and how good the new tiny speakers with a sub are.

I put a giant confederate flag on my wall because I like the challenge of convincing people that what they perceive to be a hate symbol actually represents the values the US was built on. I'm batting over .900

Plus, it's funny to watch the feminists short circuit when they realize what a racist piece of shit I theoretically should be for hanging the flag but still want to sleep with me. Feelz before realz.
