I'm from Scotland. Its not unusual to see someone wear a kilt over here, although its usually for a special event like a wedding as it is considered our national dress.

Scottish here, we were kilts all the time. Well not every day, but it's not uncommon to see them worn both formally and casually.

A guy at my office wears his kilt on casual Fridays every now and then. Looks good on him. Our office (mostly female) gave him nothing but compliments on it.
