I still think this is such a random mindset to have. Neither me, nor any of my friends ever in my life, goes crazy over a stick-thin, anorexic model. Ironically, I've heard more adoration from females for those models than I do from males. Secondly, where did that even come from? Biologically, or even from evolution's standpoint, curvier women are more desirable to proliferate and carry on the next generation. Renaissance art featured plump women as the ideal form of beauty.
But somewhere along the line, girls have to be stick thin. And now a weird cycle has developed: females are thin because they think that's what males want, the media emphasize this message by putting in rail-thin females in the spotlight, females complain that they now have to fit into that size 0 because it's what the media portrays. Meanwhile, all I've heard from guys is that they like thicker women and finds those models disgusting. It's still going on to this day, and males are still being blamed for females having to lose weight/be anorexic/fit in the media's views. I don't get it.
