Voting is not a privilege, it is a right and a duty.

For generations, this right was afforded to only 6% of the American population – with men’s and women’s suffrage ending in 1856 and 1920.

Still, in 2016 40% of the voting public didn’t exercise this right. With fewer men voting than women, in almost every ethnic minority class.

You wouldn’t believe it, but white men are now just as likely as black women to fall through the cracks of voter representation and not be represented in the electorate.

Everybody deserves a say. Everybody deserves to vote for change.

Use it, November 3rd 2020.

I'm Dutch and think the American political system is weird. How did Trump and Biden even become the best two options for America? Such a large country and then those are your options.

I think one of the reasons is because politicians' agendas are not aimed at men at all. I'm not sure if this is also the case in the US but in Poland even the left-wing parties have no programmes concerning men's issues while there are always agendas dedicated to women in many areas: health, education, employment and so on. It just makes you feel like a second class citizen that nobody cares about.

One thing though. Maybe picture 5 should be changed to percentages? I don't know how many million there are of each gender/sex in each age group. Is 6.2 and 5.4 high or low? (Probably as high as the others since it is only 6 years.)

I vote when there’s an actual option. When the option is a corrupt sack of shit or a different corrupt sack of shit, I refuse to legitimize either with my vote. I live in a very conservative state, so even my local and state races are a choice between a hyperconservative Republican or a hyperconservative Democrat. I don’t support hyperconservative policies any more than I support hyperliberal ones, so in those races, I don’t vote, because once again, I refuse to legitimize a shit candidate. If there is a candidate I like, then I vote. If there is a vote for a decision on state questions or the like, then I vote. But I leave all the non-choices blank.

Women voting was a states rights thing until the constitutional amendment, so it's most(?) women couldn't vote until 1920.

I don't get what you're saying. A lot of men are choosing not to vote, but you could make the argument that people have been trying to stop minority men from voting for decades.
