Sadly these are being used against us. Feminism demands MORE accountability for men but still not any at all for women. To this day, false rape accusations tend to not be prosecuted, lest we scare away more false rape accusers.

Inherently or culturally? Note so that a lot of positive traits also bounce back negatively on men, and I find it hardly ever considered by a lot of "feminist".

Men are providers, expected to shoulder the load without complaining. This extends to emotions, where men are supposed to not show emotional load, but also work, where men are expected to just work, do dangerous work and provide for their families.

Men are protective, they try to protect for their family, their tribe, their country. Men have died by the millions during wars to protect those who could not and would not fight. If there is a trouble, the men are at default expected to solve the problem. This also extends to men doing dangerous work such as working in the mines, in order to provide.

The aggressiveness and emotional intelligence I would consider traits that are trained upon men to be able to shoulder the above expectations.

You're not allowed to consider any positive qualities to be associated with men, only the negative ones, the positive qualities are gender neutral and found equally in women.

We never expect somebody to know how we feel. If something isn't alright, we say so, and if we feel uncomfortable about saying so, we don't blame others for it.

We can say rude things to one another and also take it from eachother and know it is in jest, even when there is also an element of competition in it. We don't have to tiptoe with our words among men. Nevertheless, when somebody goes too far we let him know. Sometimes simply by not laughing at a lame joke.

There is a formulation of gender stereotypes that I like: « men do, women are ». This comes with a lot of positives and negatives for both sexes.

I don't think there are traits unique to any sex, but there are traits men in particular value in relation to others - like Selflessness, Loyalty, Honor. In general things in service of others and the facilitation of trust and cooperation. While maybe not uniquely male, these traits are pretty unique for human males in the animal kingdom, and we should perhaps take greater pride in that.

You'd think these traits would align perfectly with left-wing political views, which makes it so disheartening that the predominant leftist view of masculinity is "yuck".

more aggressive

I'm not sure I buy this one. Women are pretty much very aggressive too. They just express it more as relational aggression, but I think it would be false to say men are more aggressive. Stats on rape and domestic violence seem to agree with me on that, and the pesky thing that is the gender sentencing gap make it hard to derive anything from the prison stats, especially when you consider that the extreme forms of relational aggression, things like false accusations, that can destroy completely somebody's life, and drive someone to suicide, are pretty much swept under the rug.

But more emotionally competent. We know how to handle feelings, rather than letting them handle us. And if we are to believe trans people, men's emotions are less overwhelming and all over the place than women's.

Basically, what you need to do is dive into the science of gender differences.

If we are talking about inherent traits, the only trait that both feminists and non-feminists seem to agree upon is physical strength. Not even the staunchest blank slate proponents deny that men are on average physically stronger than women. However, one could also frame this as a sort of privilege or unfair advantage if one wanted to.

Having said that, people who believe that (practically) everything is culturally determined don't seem to believe that men are inherently less emotionally intelligent or more aggressive, if they are being consistent that is. They just think that society socializes men to be those things. Just as it socializes men to be more assertive. I'd say assertiveness is the main character trait that both feminists and non-feminists would agree men outperform women, although feminists attribute this entirely to socialization and may therefore see this as an unfair advantage. Courage and willingness to take risks similarly so. I imagine even many feminists ask their boyfriends to take care of a spider spotted in the house.

Are you asking what things men can do that women can't do? I think there's far more overlap between the sexes than differences so I'm not sure how helpful this is as an exercise.
