It's hard to fully blame the redpill followers who have a subjective perception of lower self worth. If you can't get a job, you would question your qualifications. If you have a hard time making friends, you'd question your personality and likeability. Likewise, having a hard time dating makes you question how desirable you are. Lack of desirability, even if strictly subjective and just one's perception, leads to lower self esteem.

The other issue is expectations. A lot of average people don't have realistic expectations of lots of casual sex or dating super hot women. But many do. If your expectations exceed your abilities, you'd bound to have frustration and lower self esteem due to failure. But abilities and expectations on par leads to being content and less likely to have self esteem issues.

Any thoughts?
