This is a good idea.

In my experience, I’ve found that I receive positive responses by always ensuring to be polite, backing up my points with reputable sources and explaining how you, and others you know, have been affected by issues.

I think letters to politicians are most effective when they may influence a specific upcoming political decision. For example men being excluded from domestic violence refuges or funding going primarily to women’s resources.

This also allows the points to be more targeted and specific. For example you could point to statistics showing men are victims of domestic violence more than people realize or you could point to how refusing to help men is a violation of policy, etc,

If you write a long list of problems facing any group you'll get a polite response while they laugh behind your back and throw it in the rubbish bin. I've worked in politics. Political staffers are overworked and read all mail before it gets to any official. The longer something is the less likely they'll pay attention to it. They prioritze letters that are to the point and make a specific request about a specific issue or piece of legislation their boss has the power to influence and that is timely. Long lists of general grievances they can't really fix are ignored whatever they might write back to you

The fact that women can wrongly accuse men of rape and when the allegations are thrown out and it was obvious that they were made up there is never any legal accountability or social ramifications for the women.

I have often thought about raising money for a full page advert in the Metro paper listing official stats and showing the misandry and sexism targeted towards men.

I didn't read "the boy crisis", but I've read the last pages about autism and ADHD are a bit pseudo-scientific. Specifically, it advocates for the use of homeopathic remedies. Maybe someone else can comment on that, but that would make me hesitant to include it.

I'm not sure if it's as great for marketing, but this is probably the single best book written on men's issues (and it has a focus on the UK!), although it is quite heavy on the facts and not easy to swallow.

Here is a link to the last mens day in the UK government.

It may be worth tying into this as a 'things you can build upon' - comes across as less of a complaint?

Education is a massive thing that the government controls - drawing attention to how boys are falling further behind and asking what new initiatives are being put in place to combat this could be a good start.

Mental health is a very topical subject at the moment so pushing focus on 'male friendly' approaches to this would be good as well.

The works of Dr John Barry (The Centre for Male Psychology, UK), Professor John McDonald (Men's Health Iinformation & Resource Centre, Australia), and others of similar academic standing should be used to show how men have real issues, and not simply expressing "toxicity" when failing at school, or committing suicide. These academic authors should be used to support the works of men's rights advocates like and other repsected academics like William Farrell, who have been slandered by the popular press and women's advocates.

Be very careful to not be critical of women or feminism. Argue ideas, not ideology. The word "feminism" must not be mentioned, as it will be leveraged by your opponents to label you a alt-right extremist.
