this has been tried before:

there were several companies founded by women which tried to hire only female staff. The result were horrific. Read "Catfights over handbags and tears in the toilets."

I'm so tired of people replacing equality of opportunity with equality of outcome... so what if women only make up 12% of manufacturing jobs? As long as they're allowed to work those jobs if they want to, then the only reason they don't is their own freedom of choice.

Same reason why you don't see as many women in executive positions or as politicians... no one is keeping us down, most of us simply have other priorities and recognize those careers aren't a good fit for us. I don't see myself as oppressed or lesser because I don't have a certain career that someone else thinks I should have for the sake of "equal outcome".

Dude, my brother just completed his engineering (CS) last week and he told us that a big 4 firm came to campus and offered 20 offers out which they selected 18 women and 2 men. My brother said the whole class was furious as the women got more than average salary package that too with grades like 6 and 7 gpa , whereas there were many people with 9 and 9.5 gpa. Things big firms do to please the feminist overlords.
