In the past, men's rights groups have protested. We have matched, but no one heard us for the better. In fact it was ignored largely in the past. The truth is, culture doesn't want to care about men's rights. TV networks didn't care to come and see. Politicians didn't even bother to lie to us saying that they want to champion the fight for equality. Every time men's groups protest, it's painted in a bad light.

Other groups feel that men bringing up injustices some how diminishes their suffering and it turns ugly.

As a society most believe men have an easy life where everything they ever want comes to them just because they are men and that they could never possibly be discriminated against

our protests get shut down by feminists. plus there is a lot at risk if you protest for something like men's rights. your job and reputation is on the line. men's advocacy is not a popular thing.

Nobody cares about Men’s rights. Not even other men, in many cases. The only attempts I’ve seen at a men’s rights protest have been ignored or laughed off by publications and often draw vicious counter protestors. Like someone else here said, those who oppose us subscribe to the idea that “there is no truth but power,” and many of them are willing to stoop to endless lows to put us down. They’ll come after our jobs. They’ll destroy our reputations. They’ll lie to get us imprisoned. Even our families are fair game to them.

If I were a single man working at Target or something, then sure, but to risk a career I’ve spent the best years of my life grinding to build over the past decade and subsequently throw my family into financial turmoil…sorry, man, not happening. Hate me if you want, my family comes first.

I live in the UK. If I went and protested I would lose my job and the reasons they would give for my dismissal would be something along the lines of "inciting hate speech". It wouldn't be true but when does that matter these days?

I need my job to live, to pay hills and buy food etc. I cannot afford to lose it.

That is why I don't go out and protest.

Because having protests are next to uncomfortable. Send in a few people to provoke a riot, and the opposition will have the excuse to label MRM as a terrorist organisation, and start political procecution.

We are not dealing with people who will put any principle above their desire for power, as one of the foundational belief of those opposing men's rights is "there is no truth but power". This belief also ensures that any method of destroying anyone who does not support them is good, same as the left-wing did since effectively their beginning during the "rain of terror" immediately after the French revolution.

This is why we must be factual, resourceful and persuasive, to expose the word to the truth about this matter. By using force and protests we will become the same as the opposition, defeating the purpose of MRM.

EXACTLY. Women have fucking huge balls compared to men ironically. When society tries to silence them, they go even harder. Why the fuck are we retreating to the shadows and getting ass-raped by social media, reddit site moderators, the government, the media and women?

It drives me up the wall that men get so defeated easily and cease all protests but women go fucking nuts, gluing them selves to the streets, tearing shit up, handcuffing them selves outside parliaments and do all sorts of crazy shit.

This is not equal(women's)rights or Black Lives Matter. You will not see a famous athlete or celebrity actor voice themselves for men's rights. They would be cancelled. Whatever group of men protesting for Men's rights is just viewed as bitter, loser, and angry little men. We are a joke to everyone else. Yes, there are a few women that stand with us, but most of them are mothers to sons. You think a female college student gives a shit about "sensitive angry wimpy" men such as ourselves?

Once a boy turns 18, he is not important in society. Nobody cares.

It's no coincidence that there is a severe labor shortage in male dominated industries. It will get worse as more men check-out abandon the rat race.

To be blunt, most men see each other as competition and those that complain about men's rights as losers that aren't adept at navigating in the current system, but there's always going to be naysayers. If you want to protest, more power to you. There are always going to be naysayers and people not really interested in equality that will try to use biological reductionist or appeal to nature arguments to argue against what you are doing. They exist on the other side too. You will never get 100% of people on your side. As long as you take protesting seriously, literally stay in the designated area for protesting and present yourself (in dress and language and effective communication) in a way that any men's rights activist can be proud of, you should be fine. When protesting, optics and presentation means a lot, especially in the age of social media.

Outside of protesting, I would highly recommend donating to men's rights organizations that have made progress challenging anti male laws. The National Coalition for Men (NCFM), which is one such men's rights organization that has made significant progress in issues like parental reform and trying to challenge sex selective conscription when no one else was bringing this issue forth. Father and Families by Glenn Sacks was/is another good organization to consider supporting.

Start voting on issues and making it clear to those that hold office that you will support candidates that genuinely address men's rights issues. Anyone that votes in favor of unequal laws between men and women (conscription being a recent example) and openly use arguments that favor women over men (in the realm of talking about where public assistance and resources should be allocated) should mean that is your cue not to vote for that person, no matter if they are an outsider or incumbent.
