I saw a clip on YouTube about korean girls talking about types and I think they have nice categorization:

the puppy guy ( big but affectionate, can be clingy, has cute face ).
the cat type ( looks cold, sharp features, playful, sexy)
the prince type ( the nice guy that everyone likes, respectful, kind, handsome, mothers love him, romantic)
the dinosaur type ( bone structure, thick bones, attractive but not beautiful, can look intimidating, simple man )

Honestly the simplest and most overused advice is still the best here. Be yourself or at least use that as a starting point. Don't dress like a punk rocker if you don't listen to punk rock. Everyone's different so there's no one size fits all answer. But the biggest and easiest changes are hair and clothes. If you're a skinnier dude, get some slim fit clothes so you look more fit and they're not drooping over you. If you're a huskier fella find more of a relaxed fit so you're not bulging out of your shirt. Most important, go to a salon, someone who knows what they're doing. Ask them what cut would look best with your face shape. If you had a problem with your car you'd take it to a mechanic, if you had a toilet leak you'd go to a plumber. Go to an expert in their craft, spend the money and invest in yourself. If you look good you'll feel good.

Even cross dressing men have had sex with women, if that's the point you are trying to get to.

Having clothes that actually fit you are going to do a lot more than just trying to all-in on an aesthetic. The real key is just not being fat underneath all the clothes. You don't want to look frumpy and lumpy.

You're forgetting biker dude, Canadian lumberjack, and refined Englishman. I guess that's all I can think of right now? I guess there's like a "dad bod" type which most middle-aged ish guys fit into with jeans and a clean XL/XXL polo with New Balance shoes. Idk if women are ever into that sexually, but at least it makes a statement for already attractive men that you ALSO have a practical mind and you fit into your surroundings like a mature man in a mature dating age range/lifestyle.

Oh wait. I should also mention. There's the bright redhead with the sexy brogue accent and the kilt and the bagpipe. That's fuckin hot. Go for that.

For the record: I think punk is a bit different than emo. The difference is basically guyliner and hair gel.
