We're not expected to react to it, mainly because of the sheer blindness women have when it comes to degrading us or being outright sexist, half the time they don't even realise what they're doing until you point it out. Unfortunately that often leads to embarrassment, usually defending themselves by yelling "HOW DARE YOU-yadayadayada" or trying to gaslight you into thinking that you're a bad person for even saying they've done something wrong.

If I'm being totally honest, I find it far better to focus your energy on people that actually matter. I'm not going to argue with teachers about their use of language, or care when someone, like one of my grandmothers, tries to explain to me that I should be more than willing to die for her and the country should we ever go to war, and then calling me a coward for telling her she's on her own if anyone gets across the channel, that I'm not a man because I'd rather not waste the remainder of my life on some bint who's going to live for another five.

I am going to pull up people I care about when they're rattling off sexist remarks that they feel completely comfortable saying, because they simply don't understand or recognise what they're doing. A good one for example, my mum and I were having a conversation about a man's place in the household. She's in her 70s, she's a hard but amazing woman and has raised two generations by herself so far, mostly boys, yet her position? Men should be out there providing for the family. So women should stay at home right? "Well, no, women shouldn't be confined to the household, it's very unfair." It is, but I have to remain outside the household? Why can't I be a stay at home dad should I ever decide to have kids? Needless to say after a little while of chatting she realised what was wrong with what she had said but also apologised, as she has done in the past when she's said things that I've pointed out would be awful if our roles were reversed and I was her father.

We can change the thoughts of the people around us, the people who love us. Nothing is going to change a jilted, angry or misandrist person unless someone that matters in their lives pulls them on it, even then, like my grandmother, some people cannot be helped and it's up to you to cut them out.

Unfortunately that last bit isn't going to work for you, I remember hateful teachers and the pain they can cause. You can either take a stand and gather evidence of the remarks, maybe it's enough to throw in front of someone to have the teacher reprimanded, or honestly the easiest route, just keep your head down and not cause a fuss, depending on where you want to go with your life and what level of education you're in, pissing off the attention starved dickhead standing at the front of your class can be a poor idea.

All else I can say it to keep your head up young man, you will encounter people like this and while I don't really believe in the old saying of sticks and stones (words can and do hurt), it's important for us give as little power as possible to angry wastes of oxygen, let their flame die out as you walk on. Our job is to educate and elevate ourselves and our loved ones, nobody else.

In my school, I have an English teacher who has is known for going on tirades about Men to other people I haven't seen it in person but I can see some differences in attitudes towards men and women that is just the visible part. A lot of males in my school hate her. I wonder why? But I actually found her social media she has retweeted multiple tweets wishing death on men. She has also wished suffering and violence against Boris Johnson and Trump supporters. She also complained about a student in my class for being "transphobic".

No one even dares to call her out. I am not sure how many people actually know about her wishing death on men I know a few do and I told the person who she complained about, about the tweet and her hate of men he knows and a few of my friends and his know.

She has also commented on the relationship of a girl and boy in our year saying she is glad they broke up. The boyfriend complained to other staff that she is trying to embarrass him, that is what she actually told us (he was expelled at this point). Thankfully I am in my last year of High School so I don't have to deal with this shit much longer.

My wife has a friend who will explicitly state her hatred of men to my face and then act all hurt when I point it out.

Here's the bottom line. No one gives a shit about you, and they never will. I'm all for venting about the way things should be every now and then, and I understand that sometimes we just need to yell into the void. But during the rest of the time, it's best to optimize your life to the way things are.

It's part of female privilege. A cultural entitlement where they are the arbitrators of the private sphere (including relations between the sexes). Some would argue it stems from 12th century cultural tradition of courtly love, the subjugation of man, as vassal, to the morally superior woman, lord (or Midon), made in the image of the virgin Mary.

In the 12th century women stopped being seen as made in the image of Eve with original sin but were seen as born already perfect like the virgin Mary. Men however were still seen as born in original sin, mirroring Adam.

They literally think (women) because they react a certain way then men should react the same.

Except Men and women are COMPLETELY different biologically and mentally

If men talk about women wether it be in a critical manner or even a sexual manner then we are pigs and misogynistic.

But if women do the exact same about men then it’s just small talk

Because hypocrisy is a virtue in progressive thought. Rules for thee not for me. They start with a presumption that no humans are created equal and think it's unjust. Thus they seek to "redress" those perceived imbalances. Pointing out their hypocrisy cuts directly at the heart of their worldview and they will always blow up at you for it.
