Oh well, I opened up to my ex-wife after she cheated on me. As a good husband I wanted to save our marriage for the sake of my daughter. Guess what happened... she used it all against me when she finally had secured that other guy.

She ripped my heart out and literally shit on my soul. I was not set on fire, I was set ablaze.

It took 2.5 years of therapy to get me back on my feet. Needless to say I have not been in any relationship since then and stopped dating 5 years ago just enjoying my peaceful life as a free man.

Speak to your father, brother, friend about your feelings if necessary. Do not give them any ammunition against you. They will use it and they will enjoy it seeing you die slowly on the inside.

This sort of loss of attraction when a man shows any kind of weakness or vulnerability is just part of women's nature. They can't help it.

However, they can help what they do about it.

The woman in this video, like almost all women, thinks she wants a "sensitive guy* and cajoles the dude until he opens up. Now she's repulsed. This sort of thing happens all the time, which is why so many men refuse to open up, refuse to talk about their feelings, refuse to show any vulnerability, or even refuse to get involved with women in the first place.

If you do choose to get involved, just know that some of them choose to control their behavior in these situations rather than just going with their instinctual revulsion.

I've written before (at least twice, in fact!) about when I cried in front of my wife upon learning of my father's death. She joined me in my grief, and comforted me. Yes, I could see the (temporary) loss of attraction, but it's important to note a few pieces of info, though:

First and foremost, I didn't give a shit. My father had just died, and I was wracked with grief. I still have the attitude that if legitimate grief scares her off, you're better off without a piece of shit like that in your life.

Secondly, she wasn't some chick I'd known for a few months, but rather my wife of 12 years at the time. I'd built up sufficient alpha/arousal equity by then, and was easily able to recover any I'd lost.

Thirdly, and most in line with the theme of the sub and the fact that women need to be responsible for their own actions and decisions, she chose not to follow that awful instinct.

To sum up: most women will behave like the woman in the video. These women are not worthy of your commitment. They are capable of choosing to be better as my experience indicates, but most choose not to, and then wonder why men are so closed off and only want them for sex.

Decisions have consequences, bitch. Live with them.

Even the vulnerability of men exists for nothing more than the amusement of women. They want their men to be vulnerable on their terms, "oh look hes crying in my arms its so cute". But actual depression, and they will either shame you or leave you.

Expecting women not to blindly and unthinkingly follow their innate biological drives and prerogatives is like expecting pigs to fly.

For one, those drives and behaviours are deeply ingrained and fundamental to their cognition. It is simply who and what they evolved to be.

Secondly women in general lack the self awareness to even realize they do this - much less rein it in. And they certainly won’t consciously see or decide that such behaviour shouldn’t be followed.

They are, by and large, automata, following their basic biological programming. As harsh as this might be to say, it is also thoroughly vindicated when you look at: the state of women today, the state of the world as a result of their being given voting rights, and most importantly the degree to which women have been cooped, misinformed and manipulated by nefarious parties behind feminism, which has used them and their innate behaviour to undermine and debase society as a whole.

There shouldn't be any recouping of relationship points after crying lmao. I don't think it is female instinct for a woman to discredit a man for crying in front of her. I think it is a deficiency on her part. And on that note, if your wife ever cries sir, pull her to the side, and calmly list out a spreadsheet of how much time she wasted not servicing you while crying, and write her a bill that she has to pay for her nonsense then.

All this rationalisation of how a husband-wife configuration can work if you just bust out a spreadsheet and fix how much you cry in front of her is just utter ridiculousness. I got a hard pill for anyone who is married and needs to watch how much they cry in front of their significant other - she's not the one. Do what you gotta do and broom her fast if you can.

I don't think she is at fault for this. Women are biologically predisposed to this. When women say they want men to open up to them, they are talking about your thoughts and beliefs, not your fears and insecurities. Women want strong men who are calm under pressure and emotionally stable. You can't be that if you are always looking for a shoulder to cry on.
