Being “pornsick” is more than just being sexually attracted to a woman that is more in shape. A lot of these women have had boob jobs, lip and butt injections, other plastic surgeries, fillers for a youthful appearance, labiaplasties, special skincare treatments, hair extensions, and laser hair removal. Sometimes these procedures aren’t so obvious either. Most women don’t look like that because these procedures are hard to afford for the average woman. Although obesity should never be normalized, being numbed to more average looking women isn’t good either. It’s deeper than just working out and eating right. That’s why women in the sex industry will almost always stick out among average women not in the industry. Porn-star bodies, in general, are hard to achieve unless you have hit the genetic lottery.

If a woman is complaining about experiences with men who were "pornsick", then she's not even just "not that attractive", she has to be downright ugly. Because I watch a fair amount of super unrealistic porn, including CGI, and I'm still attracted to a good 80% of women my age that I see every time I leave my apartment.

I don't think its a matter of his woman being attractive or not. I think its a matter of whether she's as enthusiastic about sex as he wants her to be, or not. Men who watch porn do it for one reason, and one reason only: To satiate their sexual needs that they aren't getting from an IRL woman. It's not an "addiction" except insofar as the desire to see a naked, attractive woman is somehow inherently an addiction (which is a distinctly sex-negative, puritanical idea btw).

I think it’s an issue among younger men dating younger women. There is a power imbalance plus age plus undeveloped empathy etc.

However for older guys I think it’s other things at play. Watching porn can be addictive and a way to deal with depression. It can also be perfectly fine way of self gratification. I think watching porn and sex with wife are two different ways to have sex. One is with oneself and the other is with the wife. A woman can’t demand a guy to not have sex on his own, that to me comes off as controlling. If the sex between the spouses is not good that’s a relationship problem, not a porn problem.
