Did reading TRP really changed you?

Reading, at first I thought it was a bunch of angry men venting about their shitty failed experiences with women. Then I started playing around socially with some of the concepts, and to my surprise they worked.

At this point, TRP theory is like evolutionary theory. You can debate it, but the evidence is clearly there.

Most people are like that. You can give them all the info on how to lift and diet to get jacked, and they're not going to use it and just remain average people. A few people will do it and end up looking good (not counting the guys on juice).

The same with TRP. If you don't use the info, then enjoy your average life.

I was your generic AFC when I first came here, but I had a lot of thoughts about women that at the time I wrote off as cynical. A lot of things I read on TRP were just confirming my suspicions about the way the sexual marketplace works. Finding others that not only thought the same things, but actually confirmed them out in the field definitely helped me skip ahead in my sexual journey.

A huge revelation came when I actually started spinning plates. When I first read about the idea, my pervasive oneitis wanted me to think "Wait, you mean a woman will just fuck you, even when she knows you're fucking other girls?" You're damn right women will, and while they will continue to state otherwise, it actually turns them on. You have to observe their actions, not their words.

My last bit of doubt in TRP died a while back when, while spinning 4 or 5 plates, a hot young HB9 I had my eye on for a while actually pursued me. When we finally got alone, she told me she wanted me to ditch all my plates. My dumbass beta self at the time didn't recognize the shit test and agreed to the terms. Sure, I got to fuck her (all of four times, whoopie) but very quickly afterwards she ghosted me. Lesson learned.

Above all though, spinning plates gave me the practice and the confidence to get to where I really wanted: an LTR with a hot, young woman who wasn't a bitch... and the know-how to actually keep her happy in bed and in the relationship. Of course what you use TRP for is up to you, but pre-TRP-me never would have even had a chance with my current LTR.

It takes years. It's just like training for a sport. You read, and implement, read, and implement, until you internalize.

I was lucky enough to have been reading "game" resources (Roosh, Krauser, etc.) since 2010, so when I found TRP earlier this year it was just a natural continuation.

It changed a lot about me

1) I no longer fixate on one girl 2) I no longer fixate on women to fulfill me 3) I no longer feel any cognitive dissonance about what I want as a man and what society tries to demand 4) my relationships with women have improved significantly 5) I don't feel out of place or lost in dating. I'm frustrated by the state of the world sure, but I feel at ease with the women lucky enough to date me

It takes more than just reading, and it's pretty much impossible to make wide sweeping changes in how you react to different situations. People operate on their default mode and react how they react. In embracing something like TRP you have to start taking inventory of how you respond to different stimuli and different situations, determine if you need to make a change, and then implement that change.

It takes time, it takes perseverance, and it takes focus. One of the best things I found was to actively participate in the discussions. Think about your answers and how you would ideally respond if placed in that situation.

Reading the sidebar just doesn't cut it. Internalization of concepts requires you to go out and DO something. Start working out, start approaching, start journaling daily about things that work for you and be able to examine things critically when you fuck up. Participating in the discussions reinforces the concepts, too, but it still comes down to action.

I took control of my life. I now fully understand how i can control myself and my choices and I shouldnt try to control others, I am the only one responsible for the decisions I make in my life, and I dont need to explain my decisions to anyone. I am my own judge. The best part about TRP for me is the self improvement part and being a masculine man. I know have determined what i accept and what I dont accept from a LTR. My whole life (professional, loving, friends) was based on covert contracts, where I did stuff expecting other in return and got butthurt when it didnt happen. I was a sad beta doormat. I didnt even understand why I was do down and low energy all the time. Never again.

No more mr nice guy, WISNIFG and MMSLP were big eye openers for me.

Reading the side bar and top posts did changed me, but wow it is not the same to call the devil and seeing him arrive, I got a good graps of the theory but felt like I had too many things in my head when interacting, later on it became more natural.

I spent about a year just reading everything and gradually applying it to my life, took another 6mos or so to start lifting. I still have lots to learn.

The ones who were changed are the ones who hit rock bottom and were looking for answers. The ones who were divorced raped or cheated on etc. It may be a side effect that you have a shit memory that you only remember 95% of the shit you read. But i remember almost everything and by studying my mother and sisters at home and reviewing the skeletons in the closet from my past and failed relationships and oneitis whom i orbited for years i testify that what i learn here is true

It's really changed the way I see things. I've been exposed to TRP for a while now, and I frequently catch myself noticing how it's affected the way I perceive things.

That said, I think TRP is toxic if all you really want is a nice sweet girl to LTR and you'll have to take the shit you read with a grain of salt, but it works out well if you just wanna fuck a lot of women.

TRP overcomplicates thing.

When eith a girl all that matters is physical escalation. You can talk about pokemon if you want as long as you're touching her in the right places you can get laid.
