Watch people justify this as "supply and demand", like how letting women into clubs for free is a ploy to get men into clubs due to high ratios of women... Or something like that.

Edit: also, this completely explains why they cranked up the prices for straight white men:

Also:

The website also said that 'allies and accomplices' could play their part by 'paying more money for entry, giving generously to the taxi fund' and 'being aware of the space you take up, how your behaviour may make others feel'.

What a fucking joke lmao, I guess they didn't take the time to take their own advice to " be aware of how their behaviour may make others feel".

The Nation Coalition for Men fought and won a number of cases of ladies night price discrimination in California. So in the US, if someone had access to a lawyer and sued, the equal rights laws protect men.

Take a look at swingers clubs across the country. This is the standard

Single women in for free or minimum cost

Couples at a discounted rate

Single men the most

Some clubs let women in for free, couples £15 and single men £50.

It’s completely standard but I think they get around the law by saying it’s a private club or something

A cafe here in Australia tried this shit years ago and went flat broke lol. From what I remember they got a court summons too for discrimination but shut down before the date and case was dismissed. They mention it briefly in the article but the details are funny af. Objectively they were awful too apparently. Below average food and shit table service so the extra tax was barely justified and a lot of guys were like pfttt I'm not paying that or threatened to call the cops (this is while guys were still even bothering to go to the cafe. Became almost exclusively a lesbian haunt by the end surprise surprise)

See u/fascisteconomist post on the blue tax and why preferential pricing for any sex is wrong and should skew for men if anything.

That said, I do support business freedoms, and if that club wants to discriminate, they should be free to lose those revenues.
