Over Xmas break I scheduled my normal 1 week vacation with my son. I was informed a week prior that my son was exposed to covid. A day before I was supposed to pick him up, my ex informs me she doesn't know his covid status and he is running a fever with other symptoms. I canceled the scheduled vacation and requested to have during his summer where I normally have 2 weeks with him. My ex declines and says I lost my week of parenting time. I recently filed with the family court to get the 1 week in the summer plus my other 2 weeks. I have court next month, what's the likelihood the court will favor me? I fill like my son should not lose his parenting time with me because my ex disagrees that the week shouldn't have been canceled due to covid concerns. Thoughts?
