I think all of that is just a way of shaming men into putting up with unfair treatment, and conforming to traditional roles even when the marriage laws are shit.The amazing thing is that people who do this do actually recognize that men have feelings, and use shaming tactics to pressure them into changing instead of actually listening and trying to understand them.It shows that they don't give a shit about what men want or feel, unless there are apparent consequences for ignoring those wants and feelings.Otherwise, their ok with treating men that don't conform to their bullshit like tools that are malfunctioning.

Alot of this is pretty spot on. I've always felt like the people who say things like that are so childish, but you can't really simply dismiss it at that. Because it's so collective and it can really discourage alot in someone. Sort of like influencing somebody to think negatively of themselves because they may not be abundant with their sex life, etc. Like the things you've mentioned here

Recently there was a question asked in the r/askmen forum along the lines of, "Why are young men giving up on dating?" Your question, and your comments:

got me thinking about this question along anthropological lines.

For most of human history, including prehistory, dating and having relationships with a lot of women has never really been an important part of male identity. In modern indigenous societies, such as those that live in the Amazon rainforest, male identity is primarily about being a good hunter, a good warrior, protecting the tribe and contributing to its safety.

In these societies, relationships with the opposite sex, while important, have always been secondary to developing a sense of male identity. In industrial societies, 'dating', as a modern practice, has only really developed in the last 100 years, and seems to have developed as an alternative to the older practice of 'courting'.

If all of the archaeological evidence suggests that indigenous-style customs of male identity have been the norm for the past 300,000 years - since the emergence of anatomically modern humans - then perhaps it is no surprise that some young men today are 'giving up' on dating. To use postmodernist terminology, dating is a 'social construct', open to redefinition and 'reconstruction'.

If young males are deciding for themselves that 'dating' as it is normally understood is simply not worth the time, expense, heartache and potential for disappointment, it could be because they are making the decision to exclude dating as an important part of their self-identity, and going back to more tradtional ways of expressing male identity: being a 'warrior' or developing their skills in competitive sports or a hobby involving hard work and personal development.

If we've been tribal cultures for most of the past 300,000 years, then it stands to reason males are somewhat 'hard wired' to get more of a psychological kick out of gaming or watching/playing competitive sports: having 'success' with the opposite sex may have some importance in achieving social status, but may be perceived as being of secondary importance.

Anyway, just my armchair theory. Time for breakfast and coffee. :)

I feel like society pushes you to make sex and marriage

The reason for both these acts is because a society that doesn't have any children, doesn't have any future.
Society will push men and women into sex.
Biology too pushes us with sex drive.

Marriage, is obviously to hook up the man for his resources. (Unlike other mammals, human reproduction needs a lot of resources in addition to sex).

A man doesn't need this validation. He can be complete human being on his own, gather resources (money) and retire happily in old age.
The shaming tactic is used, because that is their last weapon.
Watch it fail. Tell her, her sexuality is least important aspect of her personality.

And be prepared to get angry or blank response. Most women cant handle rejection. Even if its from a man she doesn't desire anyways.

I say fuck them, feminist's have just found a way that allows them to be sluts and sleep with anyone they want while making men feel like they're the problem and the oppressor. We see it currently with the rise of non monogamous relationships, female fat acceptance, pro abortion, promotion of sex work like prostitution and porn.

What was once historically shamed upon by society for a woman has become promoted and celebrated by the Liberals and Feminist's. And its very self deprecating behavior in my opinion because really none of these things are healthy, physically or mentally. And that's why most of these Feminist's and Ultra Liberals in general are such train wrecks emotionally.

Non monogamous relationships are just a disaster and i doubt you can find me one example of one that's lasted for than a few years. Then there's the mental issues and anguish that comes along with not getting the undivided attention that humans need and desire. There's the STD's that are spread through having multiple partners which is what women have also historically suffered from in prostitution and porn. Any doctor will tell you that having multiple significantly increases your risk of aids and std's. So why all these things are promoted and celebrated is beyond me.

So as guys, we just have to do us. We have to look after ourselves, dress well, eat healthy and workout. We have to pursue monogamous realtionships with likeminded healthy women who share our values. And we can't settle for anything less because right now its actually dangerous to end up with the wrong partner, you could end up in jail on false allegations, you could end up broke with a lifetime of alimoney or child support. You could end up with disease so us guys just have to be really careful right now. If that means being an incel or whatever derogatory term we're called, then so be it because at the end of the day we'll be a hell of a lot happier and healthier than they are.

I would only caution you on making generalizations about all of society, based on some limited purview of a specific age group, or even just a limited sampling of redditors and so forth.

With that said, the extremes or fringe groups get farther and farther out on the extremes and to the fringe because of the movement of society in general closer to what the old extremes and fringes were...

Sure music , movies , ads have a lot of sexual stuff in them today , but from what I noticed , Gen Z girls are having less sex and are less interested in anything sexual than the previous generations of girls , or they prefer lesbian relationships over straight relationships.
