He’s definitely right. I don’t see anyone feeling good or proud about watching porn. So that surely says something.

but I guess it will be more beneficial to post in on NoFap as they all talk about porn addiction.

I figured there might be some Nofappers here cause I know some redpillers mention it

Just rhetoric. There are some people who really like to blame pornography for all the problems of their life (it could be true if you masturbate 7-10 times a day or more) but in almost all the cases it's just paranoia. Porn and masturbation is just a consequence of having nothing better to do, not the cause. If you are not able to have sex do you really think that staying in chastity is doing any benefit ? It could just bring more and more frustration... Not to mention self-hate, guilt, shame and a lot of other problem every relapse. Those nofappers are promoting frustration and discomfort, and no real benefit other than placebo and cognitive bias

Porn isn't totally harmless though.

This was a great article. I'm a single woman who watched a lot of porn in my youth, and even I relate to this. The insecurity, the expectation of aggressive sex, etc. I recently watched a bit of porn after having seen almost none for the last few years and I REALLY related to this part:

"Porn I used to enjoy now felt excessive, dehumanizing, and honestly, not very attractive. There were a few videos I saw where I couldn’t believe I used to watch stuff like that.

I couldn’t help but notice how unhappy and inauthentic the girls in the videos often were. Not to say I hadn’t noticed some of the actresses obviously faking their way through a scene in the past, but this was deeper. Like you could tell they just weren’t very happy people and didn’t have much self-respect. I know this both a) sounds weird to be thinking about while getting your fap on, and b) should not surprise anybody. But it actually became so apparent that it was hard for me to stay turned on in some cases."

Particularly the second part: The women always seemed uncomfortable, unenthusiastic, and were obviously faking their pleasure. It really disgusted and saddened me.

I don't watch porn. I find it tremendously weird. But i'm very skeptic of the hazards of watching porn and think that people kinda blow it way out of proportion. But yeah, what's sexy about watching a disgusting looking hypermasculine dude with disproportionate muscles and penis aggressively fucking a fake titted, hoochie looking woman with fake moans and cumming all over her face? It's not sexy, nor cool, nor edgy, it's just plain uncomfortable to watch... all in the context of a terrible, sureal backstory with virtually no realism lol... Mental hazards aside, i'll never get why people watch that lol

There’s different types of porn

One of the first things I learned back when I discovered TRP (probably in one of Rollo's books) was that porn was bad. Instant gratification with no effort was something to be avoided.

I still watch porn, but I agree with it. I am just a porn junkie. :(

It really depends on the porn one watches, if you are watching mainstream production type of porn than it's bad and problematic in my opinion.

I don't watch much mainstream porn anymore. I mostly watch amateur content and onlyfans(mostly solo content, masturbation, toys etc)

I watch porn, but not in an excessive manner that I can't function in society.

Porn becomes a problem if you are excessively watching it, can't function in society, are unable to pay your bills, loosing hours of sleep, and are preferring porn to your partner.
